Brian Fowler Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The way the audience went ballistic both times Punk got disrespected and started staring at Orton/Triple H was fan-fucking-tastic.
BalancingAct Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 After watching that clip, Bryan really is the "new" Austin in the sense that people chant for him even when he isn't involved. Incredible. 1
HumanChessgame Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Okay that bizarre mess of an ending was awesome in a DYNASTY sort of way. And Fuck yes, Seattle!!!! HHH was like Principal Skinner trying to hold a pep rally and the kids were chanting for Bart. Q: ARE YOU FUCKING LISTENING?????????? A: Probably not. It's just hometown heat right? Yeah. But more important than anything else: Mark Henry's suit made its return from injury tonight!!!! This needs to feature Vince as Superintendent Chalmers at some point. I can imagine HHH screwing something up and Vince showing up going "HUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNTTTTTTEEEEEERRRR! 1
Brian Fowler Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I do love how they are just jumping up and down insisting that they really are unifying the belts, and the audience (at least the online hardcore audience) just remains purely skeptical.

Vince: I came here to buy stamps. But then I saw you here, and I thought to say hi. 1
piranesi Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Seeing the Mark Henry suit makes me wonder why is there not a slammy for "suit worn best"? Henry would have won, but Goldust that one time should have given him a run.
LooseCannon Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 That felt like it was Barack Ocena cutting a promo about the failures of Randy W. Orton. I still like my idea of CM Punk running in to cause a non-finish during the title unification match simply to screw with HHH's dream match.
Brian Fowler Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Best dressed between Henry's salmon suit and Goldust in a hoodie and full face paint.
Peck Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Does "Straight Edge" mean your teeth have to look like butter? Jesus. Punk must think we are all watching on a 19" Zenith. 2
HumanChessgame Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Other than latter-day DDP has there ever been a wrestler with good teeth?
James F'n X Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Just got home from watching this live. 3 hours is way too fucking long for Raw. There were a lot of matches no one in the building gave a flying fuck about in between DBry/Fandango and the main event. I don't know how it came across on TV (KeyArena's acoustics blow), but the chants for DBry at the end of the night were deafening.
username Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Other than latter-day DDP has there ever been a wrestler with good teeth? Edge?
Phantom Lord Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Does "Straight Edge" mean your teeth have to look like butter? Jesus. Punk must think we are all watching on a 19" Zenith. One of the close up's they showed of him and I was Jesus, he looks like someone who's been up the last few days on a Meth bender. The whole straight edge thing is admirable, but man take some Amiben or maybe that ZZZQuil stuff and sleep for a week.
Johnny Sorrow Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I loved that show. I'm also loving the JFK level of conspiracy theorizing about every second of the final segment I'm seeing. 1
piranesi Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 From the straightedge tattoo down he looks like a Lane Bryant lingerie sale ad. What? I notice lots of stuff! Back off! 1
Overly Critical Man Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I'll hand it to Punk. He executes his spinaroonie better than he does his top rope elbow. 1
The Green Meanie Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Let's guess how long before that video gets taken off!
Skelemania Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 People are sleeping on how good Orton was in that final segment too. The crowd was apathetic toward him at first, then they started chanting boring but he turned them around & actually got them to legit boo him. Good stuff. 1
Gonzalez Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 No he didn't. He just kept talking for like 40 seconds more like only Orton can, and they started getting really tired of it so they booed him harder. 1
Lawful Metal Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Well, now I'm excited for Cena v. Bryan, Punk v. Triple H, and Bryan v. HBK. Wait. None of those matches are happening at TLC? Well, at least it will be fun to chant "Daniel Bryan" during the main event at TLC. 3
DreamBroken Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Amazing ending segment. Cena's 100% serious promos always deliver, loved it. Really put over the importance of this match and made it feel like a big deal in the best way since they announced it. The brawl was awesome with everyone getting involved. Setting up potential Punk/HHH stuff, continuing the Bryan/HBK rivalry, and the closing shot of Orton looking up at Cena with the Authority was a perfect visual to play into Orton being paranoid that the Authority are going to back Cena. Really great stuff. That segment sold the main event of TLC huge and made it feel special regardless of the rest of the card. Really looking forward to that match at least and how it turns out. The Bryan chants at the end were crazy huge, good stuff. Match-wise enjoyed Bryan/Fandango, the eight man, and Punk/Ambrose a lot.
RIPPA Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I was amused at Triple H not subtly having to yank on the belt holder to get it out of the way because it was brawling time. And poor Jack Swagger definitely took a shoot elbow in the face from Orton. That will teach him to break up a brawl.
