RIPPA Posted October 22 Posted October 22 This is for next week but the NFL has flexed Colts/Vikings into the SNF game Jags/Eagles will now be played at 4:05 PM
BloodyChamp Posted October 22 Posted October 22 The Bucs were so stupid not sticking to the run coming out of halftime. This era of football is so stupid in this regard. Everybody just has to throw it every 3 or 4 times no matter how good the run is working similar to how they just had to run it in the old era when the pass was working. 1
RIPPA Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Browns are signing Bailey Zappe off the Chiefs practice squad It appears Jameis will start and Zappe will be the backup since DTR is also hurt
Brian Fowler Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I'm late from the end of last week's thread, but the one NFL YouTuber I watch has taken to calling Watson "Groper Cleveland" and I've picked up on it as well. 1 2
RIPPA Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Titans are trading DeAndre Hopkins to KC because of course they are
SirFozzie Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Is this how people felt when the Brady era Patriots got Randy Moss? I don't like it. No sir.
hammerva Posted October 23 Posted October 23 i mean the Buccaneers lost not only one but maybe two receivers and nope no luck. Although after dealing with the Titans and Cardinals, I would want to play for a champion as well
RIPPA Posted October 23 Posted October 23 The Rams are trying to trade Cooper Kupp but they want the team to also take on his giant contract

I was about to say something very similar until I remembered this is exactly what I thought about Randy Moss at the time. For what it's worth Hopkins is two years older and as good as he was at his peak, he wasn't no damn Randy Moss. I did pick him up in a fantasy league just in case.

I mean, the year Juju was with KC was his 3rd best season as a pro at the time out of six years so I wouldn't give them that much credit. And he hasn't done much for them this year. I have to "wait and see" on if Hopkins will move the needle much since he hasn't had an overly good year since 2020 and is 32. No doubt QB play and injuries were a part of that, I guess to me lately I'd consider him more "efficient" or "above average" than someone that is going to make a big difference. But maybe he'll surprise me, he'll certainly get plenty of opportunities since KC's receiver room is in rough shape at the moment, he may be the de facto #1 if he plays this week. 1

Mal: Absolutely. What's "sanguine" mean? Zoë: "Sanguine." Hopeful. Plus, point of interest, it also means "bloody." Mal: Well, that pretty much covers all the options, don't it?
Contentious C Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Could go in the commercial thread, but how in fuck can JC Penney afford to sponsor an NFL post-game show, even if it's shitty? 2
Kevin Wilson Posted October 25 Posted October 25 Not completely sure how two referees in the end zone miss an obvious face mask. I keep saying that the refs don't make bad calls to keep games close and exciting, they are just sometimes incompetent. In this case they cost us a maybe exciting ending.
