username Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 The fact Taker didn't legit cripple any job guys with his tombstone has to be a minor miracle, it's just about the most reckless finish I've ever seen someone stick with for that long. 1

Never has someone been a potential harm to both HIMSELF and his opponent with his finish like Kidman. 2

Cobra Commander Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 I didn't really realize that Taker was still doing the "put my arm over one of your arms" Tombstone positioning when he did it to Hogan at SS91 and to Jake Roberts at WM8 was it a thing of not being confident that he could hold onto the guy with those gloves? he did the waist lock hold to Mario Mancini real early but he was still doing it without a waistlock to Damien Demento in January 1993 watching the end of Undertaker vs Undertaker and one of the Tombstones was the "arm over arm" variety even when he switched glove colors I guess Taker feuding with guys for years that he couldn't Tombstone made it a little less glaring and eventually he trusted the gloves? also, I always thought the Tombstone to Jake was even more difficult than the usual Tombstone for suspending disbelief about the head making contact with anything

I was there when that unfortunate incident happened. And like @odessasteps said, it was a springboard moonsault off the middle rope. Edited November 1, 2024 by Shartnado Not SSP though 1
