Dolfan in NYC
'Cause baby, now we got bad blood! You know it used to be mad love! So take a look what you've done... The CM Punk and Drew McIntyre saga finally comes to a close this Saturday! Phew finally! (Which in the previous administration meant they'd be tag team champions by the end of the year!)  Now we got problems and I don't think we can solve 'em! You made a really deep cut... Tonight though... we have a "Last Monster Standing" match as Bronson Reed & Braun Strowman settle their differences. (I'm pretty sure Chikara or Kaiju Big Battel (are they still active?) may have a legal case here!)  Did you have to do this? I was thinking that you could be trusted. Did you have to ruin what was shining? Now it's all rusted. All that and more! I hope WE don't have bad blood! (Oh like your gay moderator wasn't going to use this song. Pay the royalties and use this song for the PLE you cowards!) Enjoy the week!  2
hammerva
I don't know how who is running the WWE Vault Youtube channel in the last week but between running a 1987 NWA Omni show (well except the main event) yesterday and a video showing the opening of the WCW Nitro Grill this morning, he deserves a raise Edited September 30 by hammerva Huge difference between fault and Vault

RazorbladeKiss87
Gotta love a remix that trims the fat. Taylor's verses kinda drag. Not that Kendrick turned in a riveting effort but I like his better.

Eivion
Until now I somehow completely forgot Bad Blood was a thing and thought I knew no Taylor Swift songs. And now it keeps playing in my head so curse you Dolfan. Edited September 30 by Eivion
Greggulator
Bronson Reed vs. Braun was A+++++ and a MOTYC. One of the best big-men battles ever. We all knew there was going to be a "ring gets destroyed" spot because it's mandatory. But I wasn't expecting "fans seriously hurt at ringside" spot (I totally bit for it) or Brock flying to the floor or the second move of the match being a chokeslam through a table. This was such a great match in terms of the staging and the blocking (the theater term for where you need to hit your marks on stage and etc.) Even though I'm not a fan of the run-in ending so much, I'll give them major points for how organically it came off with Reed getting his head on the steps. It looked so good with the ropes gone. Bronson has a few main event PPVs in him and I could totally see him becoming the US champion or something like that the next time they do a show in Australia. Dear lord was that match fun. I wish DEAN~ could have seen it, he would have loved it. Other stuff I saw when I could: 1) The end of Xavier vs. Mysterio was something else. Did they ever run an "accidental" unmasking thing with Rey ever before? Definitely was very shocking and well-done. 2) The KCs with a mean streak is a fun twist. The Unholy Alliance looked like each of them had Wemby height in that segment. 3) Jey Uso's start of the show made Evanston, Indiana look like the most fun place on the planet. I love that we're getting a face Breakker because he's just way too good. Love the tease for him against Gunther. I hope that's still a ways away but I can see it absolutely on the table for WM. Fun night. Wrestling rules.

Reed loses but is still elevated since he's feuding with Rollins now and looked incredible, and Braun gets to keep his mid card status as the top Monster attraction level guy.

The Natural
Sucks Ilja Dragunov is out 6-9 months with a torn ACL vs. Gunther at a house show. Dragunov is one of the ten world's best wrestlers. A torn ACL everybody dreads in sport for how long it puts you on the shelf. Get well soon, Ilja Dragunov.
Phantom Lord
I thought for sure after the ring exploded it would be a draw between Strowman and Reed. It was a nice surprise for Seth to run in and cost Bronson the match.

Eivion
The opening with Jey and Bron was solid and a potentially interesting route to take if they actually give Jey a run while starting to lighten up Bron a bit for a shot at Gunther liked teased earlier. Rey/Woods was surprisingly off. What was there wasn't terrible, but for guys with their experience you expect a lot more. Saying that I did like the finis with Woods getting the "accidental" cheap win. Also dug the backstage scene with Kofi confrontating him a bit and letting him know about the title shot against Jey. Lyra/Zoey was solid while it lasted. Was happy to see Zoey win but even happier for the return of the KCs. Katana is almost too short and cute to take seriously was having some edge, but I do like them trying to bring it out of her and Carter nonetheless. That final Drew/Punk segment was good stuff. Hopefully the HIAC match delivers after the build this feud has had. LWO vs. Judgement Day was pretty decent. The aftermath with the Terror Twins attacking was far better. Kofi/Gable was damn good with the two showing plenty of chemistry. Woods costing Kofi the win the way he did was another interesting touch in the this tease of Woods finally turning. The Sami/Gunther segment was probably my favorite of theirs. Loved Gunther explaining the full reason behind his denying Sami a shot with that WM loss being his most embarrassing. AOP vs. Awesome Truth was fine while it lasted but really just angle to finally have Miz turn on Truth. Not big on the turn just because I don't really see an interesting direction for Miz right now. Love the Miz, but he either needs change in character or a change in scenery to breathe some new life into his career at the moment. Braun/Bronson was exactly what it needed to be as a destructive war with the two monsters wrecking shop wherever they went. Only thing missing was some more crazy backstage action. Thought this was the perfect moment to bring Rollins back for his revenge. Braun gets a good high profile victory while Bronson still looks great having only lost due to Seth. Kofi/Gable was arguably MOTN, Braun/Reed was the lovely spectacle that most will leave this show remembering as far as matches go. Segment wise this was one of the better Raws with a lot of good building for Bad Blood and further build for various feuds and stories. It has been good seeing Raw gradually become more of solid tv show the past year looking to find stories for all involved. Good show tonight.

Can't think of an accidental one ever occurring in WWE before now. Edited October 1 by Eivion

Ziggy
The New Day break up tease is developing nice. You don't really know for sure Xavier is going heel. I was never the biggest New Day fan but I liked KofiMania and E being Champion. I still think Xavier would have a nice run as Champ. If they do break up, it's going to be big. They've been in the background for so long since the early part of the Bloodline and it sucked because they were the most celebrated modern team till Bloodline got together and completely overshadowed New Day as a Tag Team. I think Xavier could make a good heel.
NikoBaltimore
I had to re-watch the main event without commercials as it killed the flow for me and it was MUCH better that way. These were two guys who spent weeks destroying each other and while it wasn't as chaotic as the past it also showed that their bodies could barely do much more of this. Not sure about MOTYC contenders and all that but if this was part of a compilation showcasing their feud it would be fun to show that to friends. I do have a slight issue with the barricade spot by the crowd. So the cameraman had that area pretty much to himself and there wasn't really anybody else by the barricade. So while I get they were plants it was kind of hard for me to grasp that one barricade section knocked down as many people as it did when they really weren't near it. Even if you accounted for an "aftershock" or something it just didn't feel right to me. Now I did however like how the ring collapsed as I felt past times seemed a bit over the top. This one felt a bit more organic as it looked a lot more like the ring couldn't simply take the force of two huge men crashing down from the top rope. And Seth doing the stomp worked very well also as he's been seen in various places outside WWE and one could wonder when he's coming back. So all this worked quite nicely for me. Ramo2653
Dug the touch on the IC title design with the paint. Isla and Alba looked like giants in that backstage segment so I had to look up their heights and they're billed at 5'7 and 5'8. Noticed Woods and Kofi arguing in the background during the Guenther/Bron backstage segment which was a nice touch. Main event was super fun and it was nice to see Seth back. I believe the rumors were that Bronson was supposed to face Seth at the big Australia show but he had a family emergency or was hurt/sick? Should be fun to circle back to it now. odessasteps
I'm more curious how a woods heel turn would effect UUDD than the New Day on Raw. I wonder if they would try and deal with it by having Kofi not on the channel for a little while.

Has there ever been a feud built around this?  and no Big Bossman stealing Pepper and tricking AL Snow to eat him doesn't count  also having Gulia first match being a setup for a Cora Jade return is an odd choice to say the very least
