TNA iMPACT - Airing August 22, 2024 from Tampa, FL

*Hammerstone def. Kushida & Frankie Kazarian (6:11) after the Nightmare Pendulum on Kushida to qualify for the Ultimate X match at Emergence. After the match, Kazarian laid out Kushida. 

*Rosemary def. Alisha Edwards (w/ Masha Slamovich) (4:46) with As Above, So Below after Spitfire prevented Masha from interfering.

*Rhino, PCO, & Xia Brookside def. Kon, Madman Fulton, & Steph de Lander (w/ Matt Cardona) (8:26) when PCO pinned Fulton with the PCOsault. Cardona said he would've faced PCO but he's not medically cleared and introduced Kon & Fulton. Steph spent the match arguing with them and afterwards, celebrated with PCO. 

*Laredo Kid def. Bhupinder Gujjar & Jai Vidal (6:39) with the 450 splash on Vidal to qualify for the Ultimate X match at Emergence

*Jonathan Gresham def. Charlie Dempsey (9:10) via pinfall. After the match, they continued to fight.

*The Hardyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) def. The System (Moose & JDC) (14:44) when Jeff pinned JDC after the Swanton Bomb. After the match, Moose & JDC attack the Hardyz until Mike Santana makes the save. Eddie & Myers come down to make it 4 on 3 until Joe Hendry makes the save.

Pretty good show further setting up Emergence. Hammerstone in Ultimate X should rule. Rosemary/Alisha was short but solid.  Trios match was fun, Xia is great.

Gresham/Dempsey was an interesting mat-based match with the finish coming out of nowhere.  Nice main event return win for the Hardyz. Love the post-match chaos brawl with Hendry's theme playing.

Happy that the post-match of Dempsey/Gresham looks like they'll be running it back. Whether it's in TNA or NXT, I wouldn't mind the two wrestling under Heritage Cup rules. 

The main event was a bit trippy to watch with the feed constantly glitching.
