hammerva Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 Well this was inevitable given the signing of Bryant and how other receivers have looked, Washington traded Jahan Dotson and a pick to the Eagles for some draft picks
dogwelder Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 So another Riverboat Ron draft pick gone. What a horrible regime that's turning out to be.

hammerva Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 (edited) Not sure what was the more ridiculous Adam Schefter reporting moment yesterday between a bunch Charger players having to crawl through celling panels to get out of their broken hotel elevator in Dallas or whatever the fuck Field Yates was going on the beach with an inflatable tacking dummy during his fantasy football league draft that caused him to dislocate his shoulder Although I am willing to bet it wasn't the first time someone on a Jim Harbaugh team had to go through ceiling panels to escape trouble Edited August 24, 2024 by hammerva
RIPPA Posted August 24, 2024 Author Posted August 24, 2024 In a fitting tribute to PAC 12 after dark 3
hammerva Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 The only people who was happy to see Trey Lance throw 5 INT in a game is probably Dak and definitely the Niners organization 2
BloodyChamp Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 That’s the 49ers in a nutshell right there. They bust their asses all the way down to the practice squad and come up that short.
RIPPA Posted August 25, 2024 Author Posted August 25, 2024 Ravens Offensive Line Coach Joe D'Alessandris has passed away at the age of 70 Quote D'Alessandris had been hospitalized for the past two weeks with what the Ravens had described as "an acute illness" that required ongoing treatment for an extended period. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said at the time that D'Alessandris had surgery early in the summer, and his current illness was a complication from it.
Tabe Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Stat of the day: Sean Payton is the highest scoring head coach of all-time at just over 27 points a game. Mike Mccarthy is 2nd.
hammerva Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 i didn't watch the full game but man are we sure Cris Collingsworth didn't have to get his stomach pumped after talking about Drake Maye. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 KC is signing JuJu Smith-Schuster. (Yes, again.) This is apparently in response to a report that Rashee Rice is going to be... going away for a while.
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Expect to hear the statement "CeeDee Lamb will be able to buy lots of CD's now!" Cowboys extend Lamb 4/136, 100 guaranteed 1
hammerva Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Malik Willis traded to the Packers for a 7th rounder. Man those Packers backups must have sucked 1

hammerva Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Welcome to the new stadium name of the Washington Commanders. And yes there has already been jokes about "Washington" and "Northwest"
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 The NIMBY's in Adams-Morgan would destroy the Commanders. Nothing quite as powerful as a DC Karen because she (and her husband or wife) probably has a law degree. In other NFC Least news... Jerry Jones said in an interview that so long as he owns the Dallas Cowboys, the team will never hire a GM. He believes "no one can run the team as well as he can." To wit... This serves as a reminder that the Dallas football team has not made it to the NFC Championship game in almost 30 years. 3
RIPPA Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 Some notable cuts so far Kadarius Toney - Chiefs Desmond Ridder - Cards Myles Gaskin - Vikings Sam Hartman - Commanders CJ Beathard - Jags Martavis Bryant - Commanders Bailey Zappe - Pats Anders Carlson - Packers Caleb Farley - Titans
Brian Fowler Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 With Zappe being cut, that makes it the top I think 7 QBs picked in 2022 who are no longer with the team that drafted them. The weakest QB class in years might've been somehow worse than advertised.
dogwelder Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 Why Ron Rivera should never be allowed to be in control of a team's draft: 1
BloodyChamp Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 You just never know when it comes to drafting. Coaches don’t know, players don’t know and we dang sure don’t know. That’s a unique list of cuts. A guy who started on the team that won the SB, a year old first round draft pick, a Bill Belichik coached quarterback, and 1 of the 9000 quarterbacks who started for the 49ers between Jimmy G and Purdy.

Dolfan in NYC Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 This is one of those things that's going to end up being a much, much bigger problem than anyone involved right now remotely thinks it is: 2
