Two of my favourite fighters going at it again in Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Procházka. Two of the heaviest hitters ever. Heart overrules head, Jiri by KO in R2.

To be fair, based on some of his strategies sometimes, Jiri doesn't use his head either.

Really looking forward to Ortega vs. Diego Lopes. They're building up Diego Lopes as this great prospect. Ortega is strong test for any prospect.

Surprised that they booked MVP vs. Machado Garry cause they seem to have a lot invested in both guys. I guess with Page being the age he is, they really cannot take it slow with him. So his UFC tenure is essentially in fast forward.

Sucks that Ortega is out but that's an awesome short notice step in from Ige.

Farewell to Michelle Waterson, fun career, loved her fights since her early Invicta days.   Some epic KOs in the prelims.

Ian starts talking about the title, and I was thinking him vs. Leon sounds fascinating.

But then I remembered both Jack Della Maddalena and Shavkat are also ahead of him.

Welterweight is pretty stacked, but they might all be watching Islam make a run for Champ Champ.

That was the best result possible for both guys. Diego gets to keep his momentum. Ige ends the fight on top, and now there's more interest in what he does next.. Both guys probably got a favor from Dana and Co - which might just be a spot on the Sphere show.

Now let's see if Jiri can stop Alex before he employs his dark magic.

Daniel Cormier talking about Strong Style was something I wasn't anticipating tonight.

And we got an Ultimate Warrior reference in the main event

The early 125 bout was fight of the night

bit of a late stoppage in the main

I remember watching the Karate Hottie on Fight Girls w/ Gina Carrano enjoy retirement, heck of a career considering she spent  most of it fight a weight class of two up

Feel for Jiri as he's now lost twice to Alex and won't be getting a title shot again while he's champion. Hope Ortega's ok. Respect to Lopes and Ige.

Less than 2 years Pereira has beaten:

Strickland.
Izzy.
Jan.
Jiri.
Hill.
Jiri.

5/6 by KO/TKO. 4/6 UFC Championship fights.
