Refreshing seeing WWE work alongside different promotions. Triple H with Pro Wrestling NOAH and IMPACT. The old senile POS wouldn't have allowed it.

Buying a whole company just to get Muhammed Yone seems like a bit of an overspend, but what do I know?

Thinking about it...  and the fact that they've been actively teasing another major announcement...

SummerSlam '25 in Toyko - WWE x NOAH ?

LOL East coast people bitching about having to stay until 9 am to watch the Summerslam main event.

So Cyberfight now has co-op deals with both WWE (Noah) and AEW (DDT)? That's pretty astute of them.

Does NOAH have anyone that the current WWE audience might know now that Muta's retired?

Timothy Thatcher and if they're an LU fan, Hijo de Dr. Wagner

The Muscle Buster is a vertical suplex. I'm pretty sure it's older than anybody still wrestling.

In a Vertical Suplex, one arm hooks the head, whilst the other grabs the hip/ waistband.

In a Fisherman's Suplex, one arm hooks the head and the other hooks the leg (and hopefully you lock your hands together).

In a Muscle Buster, the head is trapped between the neck and shoulder, whilst both arms hook the legs. And in some versions, the person performing the move drops to a seated position like a Neckbreaker, rather than dropping flat like a suplex).

Not the same move.

Did they ban the muscle buster after Tyson kidd’s injury?

That was the rumor though Jordynne Grace just busted out against Roxanne Perez at Battleground on Sunday. Could be a change from when Vince was in charge or just a case of Joe dropping it to be safe.

A slight variation then. And a distinction that I'm sure is lost on most viewers.

I was gonna say, you can ask Tyson Kidd if it's a vertical suplex. It ain't.

So it looks as impactful as a standard vertical suplex, but it's actually dangerous? That's the exact opposite of a good wrestling move!

You aren't supposed to drop backward but everyone does so as to not Tyson Kidd people. It looks like crap. So, no it is not a good wrestling move, since to perform it properly is too dangerous and to alter it is disappointing in practice.

Imagine how awesome this would've been in 2005.

Kevin Dunn getting in Vince's ear about how "their guys shouldn't be beating our guys" while the match in question is Misawa & Kobashi vs The Bashams.

It's funny that Vince was down on Hakushi because even though everyone liked his work he just wasn't as big in terms of height that Vince was expecting. Then, seven or eight years later, Vince gets his Japanese wrestler who has the size in Kenzo Suzuki. Problem is he cannot really work worth shit and has virtually no chemistry with anyone in the ring.

That said, I think he probably would have loved Morishima and Rikio. He would have given them a push much like they eventually got in NOAH.

Damn, you beat me to it by seconds. Here's what I was writing:

Also, they steal away Morishima and let's say... Go? Maybe just Morishima as their Adjucated Token Japanese Wrestler. Or if Vince says "HE'S FAT!" then Go.

I’m imagining Vince giving the Rockabilly Honky Tonk Man protege gimmick to Shinya Hashimoto and Hash beating people with the Shake Rattle and Roll
