Lawful Metal Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Draymond just rescuing Klay nothing to see here

Brian Fowler Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 1.) Grabbing the extremely large and angry Frenchman who was about to murder his teammate, while clearly against NBA rules, seems like a valid and fair response to me. 2. Locking on the hold and dragging Rudy several feet across the court for several seconds is less valid and fair. 1
RIPPA Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 I see a way to get around the load management rules 2

Zimbra Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Can we get Taz to analyze Dray's grip on that sleeper? Feels like he'd have some things to say about it.
Cobra Commander Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Nick and Bobby know the little differences in regards to sleepers  1

Travis Sheldon Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 (edited) We need Tommy Young to slip a hand in there to see if it's too tight. Seriously, Towns should have locked on his own version and Joey Styles could have called this 3-way match. Styles - "Kata-Ha-Jime!!!" Edited November 15, 2023 by Travis Sheldon comedy 1 4
Tabe Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 If you want a good laugh, watch the Golden State feed of the Draymond choke. They call Rudy's restraint a chokehold (it wasn't) and the do everything they can to defend Green, including not calling his a chokehold (it was). 1
blitzkrieg Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 (edited) Suspension is in, five games for Draymond. Edit: $25K fines for Klay, McDaniels, and Gobert. Edited November 16, 2023 by blitzkrieg

Lawful Metal Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Can someone explain the in season tournament?

Contentious C Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 A trophy and the individual players on the rosters get like 500k for winning and 200k for semi-finalists, 100k for making the tournament at all, something like that. Probably means a lot more to the 2-way guys and 12/13/14/15s on the bench.
Brian Fowler Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 Yeah if you're on the winning team as a two-way guy I think it would nearly double your salary for the year.

Do the games count for playoff seeding?

It's part of the 82 game schedule (when we get to the actual tournament part of the tournament, eliminated teams will play each other to make up the games. The two finalists will play an 83rd regular season game that I'm pretty sure doesn't count in the standings.

Contentious C Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 I do wonder if the championship game stats will go into the same weird memory hole box as the play-in game stats.
