Jiji Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Terry Rudge was fantastic. Also, Big Show was in such phenomenal shape back in the day. Missile dropkicks 'n' shit. 1
Curt McGirt Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 http://cancha.typepad.com/rompe_huesos/2012/10/tr%C3%ADos-de-miedo-2.html No idea how to post the images on here but some are fantastic, especially the Perro one and the magazine cover. Apparently ohtani's jacket managed to steal one for his lucha history thread.
Bustronaut Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 It really is a great movie, as evidenced by this (sound out of sync, sadly)
JRV Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 That is the highest stakes curling match played since the Beatles movie HELP
Lazlo Woodbine Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Terry Rudge was fantastic. Agreed. A while ago I went looking for Terry Rudge matches(more still show up now and again) and was crushed to find the only time he shows up on tape in Japan is shaking the hand of and saluting Andre before a match with Inoki. Andre saluted him first of course.
Lazlo Woodbine Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 L'Ange Blanc, Paris 1959 There are even better photos that I can't post, or even link to properly it seems. Image search the guy. Some great pictures. 1

Word Hoard Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Wasn't sure if this should go here or the merchandise thread. http://www.maysville-online.com/news/local/brown-sentenced-to-years-on-manslaughter-charge/article_b6611fe3-9a77-5c88-8bbf-f9653222b707.html
Curt McGirt Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Is there any French wrestling that was filmed, besides that one gem that I believe was unearthed by Schneider recently (or at least ended up on his last comp)?

Lazlo Woodbine Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Is there any French wrestling that was filmed, besides that one gem that I believe was unearthed by Schneider recently (or at least ended up on his last comp)? A lot was filmed, given that there are probably hundreds of clips of matches on youtube, I've only come across a handful of longer matches, and even they tend to be chopped. Most seem to be 60's or thereabouts, pretty much everyone works a fast technical style, as was the norm I guess. What was the match on the comp?
kafkonia Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 somethingsomethingAirBill Dude throws Cena off a third-floor balcony in issue #1. Air bill takes a whole new meaning.
MGFanJay Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 That was the best thing to come out of that WWE 2K14 cover contest - before, they'd just shown a lower-res version of it for the WM Blu-Ray set on TV. It's also my wallpaper. 1
Domino_Not_Deuce Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Give the photographer who took this a massive raise. 12
Harbinger Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Was Wyatt doing commentary from his rocking chair?
Roman Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Give the photographer who took this a massive raise. That looks like a bearded Mr Fuji. 4
cwoy2j Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Someone needs to add the Western States Heritiage title to that photo. 1
The Natural Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 The Undertaker's house show return in February 2013. WrestleMania wouldn't be the same without him.
