He ran a non-deathmatch show in Rochester, NY (he also runs a restaurant in Rochester) back then with Brian Cage winning a world title tournament, but since NY can't have blood he's been running bi-monthly shows in Los Angeles since 2022. And in recent months, he also took over ICW's venue in New Jersey and stole a bunch of their talent. So he's running monthly XPW shows in either Los Angeles or New Jersey. And occasionally he runs no-ring shows called "Theater of Brutality" out of his restaurant in Rochester and streams them for free This takes me back. I bought two XPW VHS tapes at a store in the mall one time. Had no clue what it was all about. It was some of the worst wrestling I had ever seen but it was also unintentional hilarious at times. The first Philadelphia event in 2002 was really good, but Rob kept gradually stealing talent from CZW and pissing off their fans, so the crowds kept getting smaller and smaller. Jonny Storm and Juventud Guerrera wrestled a 5-star match in front of 30 people:

If it wasn't CZW's Cage of Death in December 2001, it had to have been either JAPW (which ran monthly) or the MECW show in August I think the MECW show was over-capacity so they let everyone in for free Quote (11.08.2001) MECW Inaugural Show - Event @ Viking Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA New Jack defeats DeVito Chris Chetti & Danny Doring defeat Christian York & Joey Matthews Buff Bagwell defeats Jack Victory (w/Steve Corino) Hot Commodity (Chris Hamrick & Julio Dinero) defeat Hell On Earth (Prince Justice & Rob Williams) MECW World Heavyweight Title: Curt Hennig (c) defeats Chris Harris MECW World Tag Team Title Falls Count Anywhere: The Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge & Rocco Rock) (c) defeat The FBI (Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke) Simon Diamond defeats The Blue Meanie (w/Jasmin St. Claire) Three Way Dance: Crowbar defeats Billy Reil and Roadkill Mike Rotunda & Rockin' Rebel defeat The Gladiators (Gary Wolfe & Johnny Hot Body) MECW APW Hardcore Title Stairway To Heaven Match (vakant): Sabu (w/Bill Alfonso) defeats The Sandman Edited March 28 by Dolphman 3000
odessasteps
It was likely not after April, when I moved to VAB. I should probably ask Jeff as he has a better memory for these things. All I really remember is which park and ride I met them at when they picked me up to go to Philly. Similar to how I can't remember any of the cards I saw up in PA that Blaine ran in the late 90s that I drove up to see.

Infinit
Did the "Juvy's Juice Bar" segment happen on an XPW show? Because if so, that would probably be the best thing XPW ever did.

I'm sure Rob Black feels like catering to the "politically incorrect" segment of fans is somehow lucrative. I just checked their merch site and some of their shirts have slogans like "You can't cancel what was already cancelled".

That was the first Philadelphia show Hostile Takeover, which also featured the Rob Naylor-approved "Best Tag Team Match Performance By a Guy Who Was Never Seen Before Or Since" in Smokey Carmichael:

It's whatever show from 2002 that had the "Raw Sewage" match with the pornstars. When you consider stuff like that, I doubt ANYONE of sound mind and body would want to be in any way connected to him be it in the adult entertainment industry or not. If you want to be the G.G. Allin of pro wrestling, good for you I guess. However, there are better ways to lose your money than running a pro wrestling promotion.

Cobra Commander
The Angels are in Oakland this weekend, so not likely that Ohtani can show up in a luxury box at Wrestlemania but right now, he'd pretty much be the one baseball player who could be in a crowd shot at a WWE show where the response from non-baseball fans wouldn't be heavily "who's that dude"
