Haven't watched much of the Briscoes, but I tend to enjoy their matches whenever I catch them. Always a shame to see someone pass so young. I feel sorry for his family.

Damn. With all the crap he was getting about his old tweets (despite being a totally different person now) I was really rooting for him. His poor brother.

fuck.  horrible. Unbelievable. Was so looking forward to what'd be next after the legendary FTR series. Right before their birthdays coming up too.  RIP Jay

He was only 38 years old, too. Way too young. His 39th Birthday is next week.

Such a terrible loss. I remember watching CZW's first Best of the Best tournament and seeing two gawky looking teenagers have an incredible match out of nowhere with eachother. He and Mark were one of the best tag teams of their generation.

No no no…what the fuck!? I’m fucking crushed. Absolutely crushed. And numb. RIP. Dude ate, breathed, and slept pro wrestling. An icon.

I'm in shock. I loved his promo's with Mark from the chicken farm.

The Briscoes (and the SAT) got me interested in CZW.  Not the blood.  the interest in CZW got me interested in indie wrestling.   So their impact is felt to this day.  such a sad day for all wrestling

Figured he was gonna be a part of wrestling for absolutely as long as he could, like 20, 25, 30 more years. RIP. Glad he was happy today and went out on top.

RIP is all I say before I know the full details.

Okay I’ll add probably one of the best tag team acts these past two decades in professional wrestling.  When teams were dropping like flies, they stuck around consistently.

I was just watching 2001 JAPW last night - Briscoes/Red/Quack were ahead of their time

Fuck everything. Sounds like his kids may be in critical condition too.

yeah Meltzer reported he died in Laurel, Maryland which is 2 hours from his home in Salisbury - but Laurel, Delaware is like 15 minutes from Salisbury and would make more sense

Dave issued a correction. It was in Delaware.
