Matt D Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 (edited) Placing this here now so people know. Just shocking. Edited January 18, 2023 by Matt D 27
Niners Fan in CT Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Very sad... saw them wrestle a bunch over the years. They were always a great team and had some awesome promos. Gone too soon.
RIPPA Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 For those that haven't seen - cause of death was car accident 14
Valcourt Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Wow. This sucks big time. So sorry for his family. His brother is probably devastated. 1
John from Cincinnati Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Another person also died in the accident. Just horrible.
Eivion Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Haven't watched much of the Briscoes, but I tend to enjoy their matches whenever I catch them. Always a shame to see someone pass so young. I feel sorry for his family.
BrianS81177 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Damn. With all the crap he was getting about his old tweets (despite being a totally different person now) I was really rooting for him. His poor brother. 1
DreamBroken Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 fuck. horrible. Unbelievable. Was so looking forward to what'd be next after the legendary FTR series. Right before their birthdays coming up too. RIP Jay 1
AxB Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 He was only 38 years old, too. Way too young. His 39th Birthday is next week. 1
HumanChessgame Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Such a terrible loss. I remember watching CZW's first Best of the Best tournament and seeing two gawky looking teenagers have an incredible match out of nowhere with eachother. He and Mark were one of the best tag teams of their generation.
Craig H Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 No no no…what the fuck!? I’m fucking crushed. Absolutely crushed. And numb. RIP. Dude ate, breathed, and slept pro wrestling. An icon. 2
The Great ML Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Going to watch their barnyard brawl from a few years back. RIP. 1
WholeFnMachine Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Horrific, 1/2 of one of the greatest tag teams I have ever seen, too young. This was a gut punch. 1
jaedmc Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Thought it was a weird joke when I read it. Just can't wrap around it right now. 1
Phantom Lord Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 (edited) I'm in shock. I loved his promo's with Mark from the chicken farm. Terry Funk ain’t wear no mouthpiece Edited January 18, 2023 by Phantom Lord 1
hammerva Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 The Briscoes (and the SAT) got me interested in CZW. Not the blood. the interest in CZW got me interested in indie wrestling. So their impact is felt to this day. such a sad day for all wrestling 5
porksweats Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Well that's fucked up. May he rest in peace.
S.K.o.S. Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Figured he was gonna be a part of wrestling for absolutely as long as he could, like 20, 25, 30 more years. RIP. Glad he was happy today and went out on top. 2
LoneWolf&Subs Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 (edited) RIP is all I say before I know the full details. Okay I’ll add probably one of the best tag team acts these past two decades in professional wrestling. When teams were dropping like flies, they stuck around consistently. Craig H Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Fuck everything. Sounds like his kids may be in critical condition too. 9

It was in Delaware. 1
hammerva Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 very classy move by NXT acknowledging the death of Jay given they have never had a connection with the WWE . 5
