Berhalter - clearly getting out in front of it - issues a lengthy statement that was basically when he was 18, he was drunk and kicked his then girlfriend (now wife) in the legs. (There is a lot more too it obviously) Well how did US Officials find out you ask? Liam Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 The interfering with play rule was all about stopping an offside from a player who is twenty yards from play leading to a disallowed goal, which makes a load of sense. However, when the ball is passed to you, you almost stumble over it and your team mate almost collides with you to kick the ball, that has to be an offside.
