To be fair... Are we thinking if Riddle or Rollins were caught spinning their meat on OF they wouldn't be fired either? I mean we don't have a male to example to counter this with, but Paige did have a sex tape released and she wasn't fired. So idk. Whole situation is intersting to say the least.

MEATY MEN SWINGING MEAT!!!

I'm not 100% convinced Mandy hasn't been trying to get fired for a while. There was a SRS report 18 months or so ago that she was essentially "playing out the string." I guess she'd been promised a lot of things that weren't delivered (imagine that). It wouldn't take much to convince me that she was told there were no plans for her on the main roster and so she caught a full on case of the "fuck-its."

Mandy has shown pretty much everything and it's her body her choice. The fact she was fired for it sucks but she's got enough people on her side that either she will be asked back, AEW will grab her, or she just sells pics for a living. We don't know if HHH or WWE Management asked her to stop selling pics behind closed doors. Maybe she was warned and just didn't care?

Meltzer says WWE knew about the site and only recently got uncomfortable when the site content became more risqué.  Alvarez said on today’s WO show that she’s still on good terms with the company and may come back when the page becomes less profitable.  Apparently she had the option to tone down content and declined.  Good money in selling undies to lonely horndogs, I guess.  Sounds very empowering.

Mandy has been released.

She was doing full nudes? I'm confused. Toni Storm was doing bikini shots. Most women at her level can get away with showing as little as possible that is damn near robbery to pay for these sites lol.

It seems like they released her on good terms. I'm sure she'll be hired right back once her subscribers start to go down. She was probably going to drop the belt to Roxy next month anyway. I don't see AEW picking her up,especially if they get Sasha. If there is the slightest bit of interest from AEW I doubt they'd try to out bid her over WWE. It doesn't look good for WWE that if your not a top paid Women in WWE you can just do your own projects like this and get paid of that same fanbase independently. It's even worse for them in this case because she was the Roman Reigns of the NXT Women as far as how protected she's been

Not sure a make-ip tweet would even be necessary. They divorced amicably. If she hadn't gone to WWE she probably would have ended up in AEW at some point.

Correct, they are apparently very good friends. One of the sweeter things I've seen was after Darby won the TNT belt the first time, she sent him a giant personalized cookie as congratulations. The image of sullen Darby munching on a big cookie will randomly pop in my head and is guaranteed to make me smile.

I figured this was pretty obvious but it hasn't been mention so one can't overlook that WWE has its Mattel contracts as well as likely multiple others that likely have some level of guarantees that they will stay clear of... let's say some of its Attitude Era-esque proclivities. I agree with pretty much everyone that banning the wrestlers from secondary sites like Twitch was utter bullshit (I am glad to see some slight signs of that thawing but wish it was just gone outright) but I can't see being too hard on WWE with this as anything that can risk major sponsors and partnerships can't really be risked. Morally I don't care and if Mandy wishes to do this then god bless, but she had to know this was a potential consequence so i just end up shrugging and going "oh well".

Presumably even independent contractors have moral turpitude clauses in their contracts.

Yup, I make sure when I hire a plumber they know they have to run all of their social media posts by me 🙄

Like you can do a FanTime thing anytime. Why burn a WWE bridge just to get some extra side money? Why not work out your contract, leave and then start your FanTime thing?

There's rumblings out there saying she was on pace to be making $3 million annually with her site. Take bumps in front of 200 people on Tuesdays for less, or take some creative pictures and bang her fiancee for more. Tough call lol.

To put that on scale, Belle Delphine claimed she was making $1.2M a month back in January 2021. Same interview she claimed that she set the OnlyFans site record by withdrawing $2M at once. Don't ask me how much OnlyFans could really pay out in a month without causing a bank run on their site.

Sites which claim to track people's net worths are usually bullshit and they lead people to write sentences like "While her net worth has been estimated to be around $500,000 as of January 2021, she ends up earning around $2 million every month". It's not impossible to make $2M a month while spending it furiously, but I suspect both figures are probably a bit off.

Anyways, $3M a year would be around $250K a month. Which could be true. But if they really had anything close to that in the bank, then the only reason to keep working for the WWE would involve keeping name recognition up to keep getting paid for the site?

Re: Mandy released!

Poor woman. Feel so bad for her for losing her job like that. It feels like I should do something to help. Was there some kind of website, or did I understand correctly? Maybe subscribing to that would help her out during this difficult time. Just so I could say I did something.

Her real name is Amanda Rose Saccomanno, the site was mandyrosesacs and identified her as Mandy Sacs. Do with that what you will.

An excellent point.

I can't imagine she was allowed to appear on television as Mandy Rose if either WWE hadn't already trademarked that name or if she signed a deal that allowed them to use "Mandy Rose" while she worked for the company.

WWE likes to own the trademarks to everything that exists inside of the WWE Universe bubble.

Here's some food for thought. WWE keeps Matt Riddle employed, not only that but they market 4:20 t-shirts to children. This is all fine and dandy because they are making money off of it.  I wonder just how many 4:20 shirts they have sold so far to kids. Kids who probably didn't even know what 4:20 meant prior to seeing the shirt.

Mandy shows some skin, her body her choice, but is fired. Why? Because the greedy billionaire company isn't getting a cut?  Anything else is total bullshit. It's not the risque story some are saying, if it were they would have scrubbed the majority of the attitude era off of WWE Network years ago.  They are butthurt that she is making all of this $$ and they aren't getting a cut.

I just feel sorry for the poor WWE intern whose job it is to monitor all these awful sites just in case any of the content becomes *sigh* too lude. I need to dust off my CV...

Do they trust his/her/their judgment on the issue? Up until now they were like Mills Lane "I'll allow it!" Must have been gutwrenching to make the call! "NO, this is obviously too much, I couldn't possibly watch this another second!" Quite the responsibility bestowed upon one person!

Well, damn, I'd just scrubbed the concept of "Sid porn" out of my head, now I have "Jim Neidhart cackling his way thru a nut" as a rock to push up my mental hill.
