Well, lots of rumors that the Denver Broncos are interested in Harbaugh. No word yet on if he has any mutual interest. It's not a particularly attractive looking job, especially against a Michigan team that should enter next year a preseason top 5 and the favorite in the B1G.

Especially when you're locked into a quarterback that apparently: A) Spent at least half the season calling audibles used by his previous team and; B) Sucks

Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall has decided to exit the transfer portal and return to school

Word around the campfire is that he didn’t have enough credits to transfer this spring, which killed interest in him at most desirable programs.

Just wanted to mention here that at least the Carolina Panthers are already tampering with Harbaugh

Have to imagine Denver is right behind them

Wake me up when Harbaugh is nominated for Speaker.

All silliness aside, if Carolina and/or Denver want to take 6 years for signature wins and be totally unprepared for playoffs, more power to them.

A smart move for him. Needs to prove to the NFL that he can be successful in a “real” offense, outside the Wake Forest gimmick.

And Notre Dame desperately needs a QB.

Took a minute but Hartman officially announced he is going to Notre Dame

Harbaugh has again made his interestingly worded "I expect to be coaching Michigan in 2023" statement.

He keeps saying it the same way, where there's just enough wriggle room that he won't have technically lied if he leaves. "No man knows the future" keeps recurring in what he says as well.

Including a "Level 1 violation" against Harbaugh for failing to cooperate with investigators.

Certainly no connection between this and him suddenly being super interested in coming back to the NFL, though.

Certainly helps explain the open ended language he's been using. Though it's doubtful the investigation will be over before next season is over. He could come back with J.J., Donovan, etc, take another shot at a Natty, and then leave with a the penalties for whoever comes after.

Who knows?

Jim Harbaugh is a better NFL coach than college coach IMO, and I don’t think we have to worry about him benching a quarterback whose winning for one that’s ever played ever again lol!

Jimbo Fisher is every bit as big of a creepy monster as Bobby Petrino. He just hasn’t been caught with his pants down yet, but he kind of was of you Google hard enough about his wife and her little affair.

Since this is specific to college football I will put it here

NBC has hired Todd Blackledge from ESPN and will pair him with Noah Eagle as the lead broadcast team of their prime time Big Ten package

I was saying awhile back that he seemed like a perfect candidate for that Saban former head coach rehabilitation program.

He fits in every way except that he’s an Air Raid guy and Saban has historically preferred West Coast guys. But he’s been willing to change before.

So the four teams that have been the biggest powers in the CFP era, three of them are replacing multi-year, Heisman finalist (one winner) QBs, and the fourth is bouncing from a failed QB to a lightly tested true sophomore next year.

Any of them could still be extremely good next year (the Buckeyes bring back the most absurd collection of proven skill players in recent memory, they and Georgia and Alabama continue to generally have top five classes every year, Klubnik could be the best great Clemson QB, etc) but it does feel like if there's a year for somebody else to sneak in and win a title, it might be 2023.

I mean, those four schools have won 8 of the 9 playoffs (with a random all-time great LSU team the other) and grabbed 15 of the 18 title game slots, and nobody should be shocked if any of them win it all, but none of them look inevitable next year.
