NCAA 2022 - WEEK THIRTEEN

JMU has won “1st place” in the Sun Belt East, but can’t claim the division championship or play in the title game because it’s their 1st year in FBS.

Instead, the team they just beat, Coastal Carolina, who is REALLY struggling without Grayson McCall, will play in the title game.

Clemson done.

I think Michigan reestablished thier run game.

Yeah it's amazing how the first half was played at the exact style and pace Ohio wants, and the second half has straight up been a Michigan game.

And Michigan clearly played Ohio's game a lot better than Ohio has played Michigan's game.

FUCK YES INTERCEPTION

So Georgia is in almost regardless of what happens next week (maybe if LSU beat them by 40 it might change things)

Only way I see Michigan missing now is if they lose next week, TCU and USC both win out, and LSU upsets Georgia. Then it's basically a resume battle between UM, TCU, and USC and who knows how that goes.

Buckeyes could probably still have a chance if USC and/or TCU lose.

I guess technically Alabama could still be a factor depending on how things shake out but it feels unlikely.

wonder if the CFP will move Michigan ahead of Georgia if an SEC team is #4 after today, even with the option of moving Georgia back to 1 depending on the Conference title games

I know they probably don't have a solid rule about not having Georgia play another SEC team but it would the first time that happened, but take your pick of..

Peach Bowl: Georgia vs TCU or Georgia vs SEC 4 seed

Fiesta Bowl: Michigan vs TCU or Michigan vs SEC 4 seed

Of course, TCU has a few games left to clinch or blow their spot, and USC could still make it. So plenty of chaosball is left to be played.

If ND beats USC, I think the top five is GA, UM, TCU, LSU or OSU in whichever order.

If USC wins, then GA, UM, TCU, USC or LSU, OSU for the top six.

Ohio obviously needs Georgia to beat LSU, and at least one loss between USC and TCU, but ND being the one to deliver that loss would also boost Ohio's resume to go into an argument with somebody.

Arizona State is hiring Oregon OC Kenny Dillingham. Which is just…hmm. He’s a promising young coach, but he’s 32. you’d like to think a place like AZ State would have more proven options, but perhaps not with the NCAA stuff looming. They may be looking at Dillingham as a bridge coach.
