I forgot that they'd fired the OC before Reich. Who the hell is going to call plays?

Oh, that's part of the fun.  Literally no one on the staff currently has called a single play in the NFL before.

Kansas City @ LA Chargers has been FLEXED~ into the Sunday Night slot on 11/20.

(This replaces Cincinnati/Pittsburgh.)

Yes my first ever NFL game has been flexed. But I guess I won't be as cold...so I'm taking it as a good thing lol

Scott Milanovich called plays for the Jags for about 5 weeks and did it in the CFL so you would think they would go with him.

Nope

The Colts have an interim head coach who has never coached above the high school level, and now they have a playcaller who has never previously performed his new role.

Passing game specialist/assistant quarterbacks coach Parks Frazier will assume playcalling duties for the team under interim head coach Jeff Saturday, multiple sources confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday. The news was first reported by NFL Network.

----------------

Frazier, 30, is close to Reich, an ordained minister who officiated at Frazier's wedding. Reich leaned heavily on Frazier while he was the assistant to the head coach in 2018-19 before promoting him to quality control coach in 2020 and assistant quarterbacks coach in 2021.

Frazier has an undergraduate degree in computer science and is considered among the leaders on the staff in the use of technology and data. He also has worked closely behind the scenes the past year-plus with Sam Ehlinger, who will continue to be the starting quarterback. A former quarterback at Murray State, Frazier brings experience at the position.

In what's going to prove to be the leading wave of "I paid 8 dollars to make a joke" Twitter, a fake Adam Schefter account (with the checkmark!) tweeted that Las Vegas has fired Josh McDaniels.

They have not.

It's really a shame we've literally lost Twitter verified accts as a breaking news source because a billionaire needs people to not make fun of him any more.

It’s true - the Colts really are the biggest dumpster fire of the last 10 years. It just burns a little cleaner than some of the smaller ones.

If Allen comes back at 100%, it will have been a blessing that he missed games tbh. Every time he plays he risks breaking a leg or lacerating a kidney. Meanwhile they won’t go 0fer with Keenum. Allen needs the rest injured or not.

There's a real "sliding doors" thing with the Colts if Luck doesn't retire.

With that said, I think Josh McDaniels is on the short list of worst head coaches of all-time.  He's not just a bad coach, he's a historically bad coach who's only success has been questioned by his own players.  His own players have openly accused him of cheating to help them in his first season in Denver, when they went 8-8.  I've literally never heard players discount their own success to shit on their coach in any other situation.

Just wait until the Raiders lose this weekend to the Colts.

Honestly, how are the Raiders this season worse than they were last season when they didn't really lose any major pieces, and aren't dealing with firing a racist coach, a player literally killing someone, and being coached by the special teams coach on a team with terrible special teams(Football Outsiders has Green Bay ranked 30th in special teams DVOA)?

Josh McDaniel

Well and injuries too as they just placed both Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow on IR
