  1. Really enjoyed the WrestleMania Rewind focusing on Mayweather/Show. Lots of fun.
  2. My sister came to visit from Ontario last weekend... And here's me and a few other Big West babyfaces last month, giving a cancer patient (white shirt) a chance to pose with the Big West Championship, in Osoyoos. Made the fella's day.
  3. I enjoyed the doc, but here's what bugs me: Stephanie tells a very touching story that when Warrior comes backstage after Raw, he hugs Vince and says "you were like a father to me." That's lovely... ...but apparently every goddamn second of Warrior's backstage presence all weekend was being filmed, and THAT is the only clip they magically don't use or have? Really? They have the Hogan showdown, the sitdown with Trips, everything...but that one piece. It just makes the story look bogus.
  4. Barrett is a tough kid and all, but Coage would mop the floor with him, IMHO. I dunno, I think Barrett has a pretty good shot if they fought today. [insert slow clap gif I can't find right now]

  6. I meant to post here earlier. My daughters are in a weird stage because they are both still young (9 and 6), but they also see behind the scenes because I'm promoting shows. So they see some heel assaulting me and talking smack at the show...and then those same guys are at my house and we are all getting along. I told them it was rigged almost immediately, after my oldest used to freak out (before little sister was born), when I was wrestling monstrous dudes like Cremator Von Slasher (6-10, 280) and The Mauler (350-plus pounds), and coming home rather banged up from hardcore matches...one of several reasons why my promotion is 99% blood-free, BTW. My oldest daughter's big thing lately is "Is [insert wrestler name here] a nice person?" She probably asks this because she has seen some of the garbage I have to put up with local "superstars" on the indy level. Luckily, I've worked with a few people on their way up (Bryan, Emma), so that I can answer that they are nice people. Luckily, we don't watch TNA so she can't ask if Davey Richards is a nice person...
  7. Any show that opens with Buzz Sawyer is okay in my book. Seeing Shane Douglas as a happy babyface, when the majority of his career he was a miserable prick...it's amusing. Opening tag was fun. Cactus Jack is practically SKINNY in 1990. And you can hardly tell that ROOS are sponsoring this show, by this point. Barely even mentioned by JR. And then my internet crapped out last night. More to come...
  8. My kids enjoyed it, and it got them hooked on watching wrestling again. Also and, as expected...
  9. I've seen my grandmother's ghost at least twice when I still lived with my ex at my grandparents' house (live-in caregiver scenario). But I also drink a lot, so...yeah.
  10. I really enjoyed this. Very well done and very touching.
  11. My kids and I love Slam City; wish there were more episodes. Kane as the lunch lady was awesome. Wish guys were doing their own voices, though. My daughters will not stop watching shows. Although my oldest refuses to agree that NXT is part of the WWE, and we bicker about it constantly. ZOE: I don't wanna watch NXT, I wanna watch WWE. ME: NXT **is** WWE! It's got Sheamus, it's got Emma, it's got Antonio Cesaro! ZOE: Whatever, Dad.
  12. Isn't this the phony Razor, Rick Titan?
  13. Never liked the El Generico gimmick, and I'm a big fan of Sheamus. But everything I've seen of Generico as Sami Zayn is amazing.
  14. What would an indy wrestling road trip be without a pit-stop?
  15. Speaking from experience, I don't think now is the time to be dating or looking for a relationship. Consciously or subconsciously, you're carrying a lot of emotional baggage right now and it wouldn't be fair to dump that in some new person's lap. Also, speaking from experience, most women on internet dating sights are crazy and will make your emotional baggage look like no bigger than a fanny pack.
  16. My daughters, my new girlfriend, and me. I'm the one in the hat...
  17. UPDATE: two weeks away from pics of me in a cape. Hold steady, friends...
  18. It would never have been on television?
  19. How many people stared at this for a full minute, waiting for it to move?
  20. Just found this...I'm touched. I'd like to thank the DVDVR Academy, and the man upstairs: L. Ron Hubbard. Now I'd like to go on a quasi-political diatribe until my mic gets cut off. We need to stop with th-- [cut to commercial]
