  1. About two hours. It's being edited this week and should be up on Saturday. I'll post a link, here. It felt like it's gonna be good.
  2. I filmed my first "theatrical" style wrestling match last night, in an actual scrapyard. It's where the Totally Arctic Wrestling ring is housed and the company (Northwind) is a major sponsor up here in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. I haven't been this banged up since I worked three hardcore matches in one night to win Super Evil in 2017 in Enderby. Where's my stunt doubles?
  3. Napped through my "(Just Another) Mad Dog Monday" show--work is grinding me down right now--so attempted my first "Tuesdays With Marty" live show, discussing GCW Homecoming: Night One. https://fb.watch/v/voCXQHrr/
  4. Episode 2 of "Saturday Night SKODEN," featuring two of my trainees: This is Nolerbear's second "offical" match (his first being a hardcore thing before I started training him), and this is Jarred Kalifornia's sixth match. It's rough in patches, but has some good stuff. *and don't even get me started on Blu Wilder wearing fucking board shorts to ref: I wasn't there so I didn't have time to go full Bill Watts*
  5. My "(Just Another) Mad Dog Monday" show was dedicated to Orndorff today... https://fb.watch/v/2MMyXvWIj/
  6. TalkDown 3.19 "Heavy Medal Love" ORIGINAL AIRDATE: July 6, 2021 Please choose a winner or a draw for the first two matches, but ONLY a winner for the Championship Finale. *** DEADLINE TO VOTE: THURSDAY, JULY 8 AT 8:00PM, PACIFIC *** CONSOLATION MATCH: (1) Dylan Murphy (2) The Advocate DRAW GRUDGE MATCH: Lance Skullz Casey Peake DRAW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: (6) Justin Cider (4) Rick Jules
  7. My first match of 2021, and my first match since November 14, 2020; it was taped last week, in the hot and humid AF tin shack that is the TAW Training facility.
  8. No offense to Slade/Cogar but IWTV does hardcore so much, I could care less anymore: turned it off because I'm just MEH on the whole concept of hardcore wrestling. Yuta/Nightengale was really, really good. Deppen/Holliday was also excellent. I like that Beyond tries to think outside the box, for such things as "hey, let's not play Yuta's new faction's music 50 times tonight," and had them out there for four straight matches, instead. It made it a little weird that the only guys making saves were the very next guy in the very next match, but hey...they tried something different, and now just need to work out the kinks. Kudos to them.
  9. TalkDown 3.18 "Semi-Finals Kinda Life" ORIGINAL AIRDATE: June 29, 2021 Only four remain, as we head to next week's finale! You must choose a WINNER for BOTH matches, plus as "Promo Of The Week." 10. How is it obvious the WWE isn't trying to be fun with it? You've got an MMA fighter afraid of a doll. It can't be anything but fun.
  11. What is there to buy? Why can't it just be fun?
  12. I really enjoyed this show. I feel Charlotte/Rhea was positioned poorly on the card: the "dark comedy" of Bliss/Baszler should've been on before the main, because nobody was following such an amazing Owens/Zayn match. My 3 fave matches were Owens/Zayn, Drew/Bobby and Cesaro/Rollins, with an honorable mention to a strong Natalya/Mandy pre-show match. I wasn't entirely sold on the two women's championship matches but the braid-work in Bayley/Bianca was well done. I felt Rhea/Charlotte just didn't have consistent chemistry: there were flashes, but it was a rough match. I loved the Bliss schtick, and it was nice to see "serious" Baszler just go out and have some fun.
  13. TalkDown 3.16 "Born To Be Wildcard" ORIGINAL AIRDATE: June 15, 2021 The two wildcard matches go down, as four men vie to make the quarterfinals! As always you must choose a winner or a draw for each match listed below, as well as a "Promo Of The Week" only this week. *** DEADLINE TO VOTE: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 16 AT 9:00PM, PACIFIC *** WILDCARD ONE: (10) Jeff Christie (7) Mean Machine, Sr. DRAW WILDCARD TWO: (9) Malik Melo (8.) Max Cage DRAW PROMO OF THE WEEK: BONUS MATCH: Draven Andrews (w/Sleazy Steve) vs. Elliot Tyler REFEREE: Handsome Pete (August 15, 2020 in Summerland)
  14. More and more indies seem to be doing away with actual websites. Facebook, Twittah, Instagram...that's where it's at, now. ?
  15. I can't tell if trolling is going on right now, with someone having the internet and access to it, but not knowing who Zack Ryder is.
  16. TalkDown 3.14 "One Step Closer..." ORIGINAL AIRDATE: June 1, 2021 This is the second-to-last week of the regular season, and as this epic round-robin comes (almost) to a close, the playoffs are still a mystery. As always you must choose a winner or a draw for each match listed below, as well as a "Promo Of The Week" and a "Match Of The Week," otherwise your ballot will not count. *** DEADLINE TO VOTE: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2 AT 9:00PM, PACIFIC *** OPENING MATCH: (16) Blu Wilder (1) Dylan Murphy DRAW MATCH TWO: (11) Draven Andrews (13) Casey Peake DRAW MATCH THREE: (5) Deztro The Eskimofo (15) Chucky Lee Ray DRAW MATCH FOUR: (7) Mean Machine, Sr. (6) Justin Cider DRAW MATCH FIVE: (14) Maverick Jack (10) Malik Melo DRAW MATCH SIX: (9) Jeff Christie (2) Red DeNero DRAW MATCH SEVEN: (12) The Dark Princess (4) Rick Jules DRAW MAIN EVENT: (8.) 18. TalkDown 3.13 primer, hosted by yours truly...the playoff possibilities get a little wild.
  19. The May Long Weekend edition of "Crack A Beer, The Weekend's Here," where I discuss the shoot job, Totally Arctic Wrestling training, how chops shouldn't be used to abuse trainees, pay homage to Randy Savage, and discuss matches of Ric Flair's in St. Louis. https://fb.watch/5EkYpYNZTc/
  20. TalkDown 3.12 "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" ORIGINAL AIRDATE: May 18, 2021 No penalties and everyone took part! Plus, the debut of Maverick Jack! 21. Another "Crack a Beer, The Weekend Is Here," where I talk about training...and how learning strikes shouldn't be an excuse to fuck trainees up. https://fb.watch/5v3Fv2ZZi9/
  22. This was supposed to air last night but I had to edit the whole thing because I stupidly included highlights of the two Rick Martel matches I discuss...AND OF COURSE it was immediately flagged by The Fed. My bad. ?
  23. TalkDown 3.11 "Time Warp...Back To The 90s!" ORIGINAL AIRDATE: May 11, 2021 Far less penalties this week, but two no-shows? OUCH. Not the time to be doing that, man. This week, we travel back to the 90s for some battles that are all that...and a bag of chips. As always you must choose a winner or a draw for each match listed below, as well as a "Promo Of The Week" and a "Match Of The Week," otherwise your ballot will not count. *** DEADLINE TO VOTE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12 AT 9:00PM, PACIFIC *** OPENING MATCH: (12) Max Cage (11) The Dark Princess DRAW MATCH TWO: (6) Mean Machine, Sr. (16) Blu Wilder DRAW MATCH THREE: (15) Casey Peake wins by forfeit; he is still eligible for "POTW" votes.
