  1. "So Did The Fat Lady" is the best episode of anything in a long time. Everything about it was awesome.
  2. My understanding is that, along with the EMP "joybuzzer" in Fitz' pocket, he also had a quarter, which is also from Grandad Triplette's spy kit. That could be the homing device.
  3. I don't think anything she said was controversial, it is just a "slippery slope" type of routine. A lot of people are going to watch that and think because a Black woman is on tv talking about how she would have had it good as a slave, that means they can talk about how good Blacks had it as slaves - which is a no-no. Like, how would NBC react if Matt Lauer said he thought Blacks had it pretty sweet back in the slave days? It falls in the same category of people who think they can use the N-word, just because they saw a random Black person use the N-word. Some people cannot, or refuse, to see the difference.
  4. It is also unrealistic. Delivery guys do not give one single fuck who signs. They just want to get to the next stop. They sure as hell ain't waiting around for "the boss".
  5. I'm somewhat inclined to think Deathlok is turning - if not this season, eventually. As a Buffy analogy, he seems to fill the Spike role. Ward is more of the Angel... right now he is Angellus and we are seeing his evil side, but his love for Skye will flip him back. To round it all out, Coulson is Giles, Fitzsimons are Xander & Willow. Mae is the one I don't have an analogy for...
  6. What the show lacks (which isn't much, mind you) is made up for in spades by Malsany. She is the best actress on television, hands down.
  7. It might be even better tonight, considering the guy that Hannity was defending on his show turned out to be a legit white supremist terrorist type.
  8. I think you could do the "concept" of Planet Hulk pretty easily... WWH would be the tricky one, while staying loyal to the book. For Planet Hulk, rather than having Hulk disposed of by the Marvel Illuminati, you can either go the route of having Thanos do it (to get him out of the way), or maybe you have Hulk destroy something important, and Stark dispatches of him on his own. At that point you can pretty much follow Planet Hulk. Then, depending on how you went with getting rid of Hulk in the first place, you can have Hulk return for the hot tag in Avengers 3 to battle Thanos, or you have Hulk's return & subsequent revenge filled rampage position him as the bad guy for Avengers 3.
  9. Well, that's not something you read everyday...
  10. No one has mentioned the badassery in the first episode of "Fargo"? Thumbs up from me, hoping it can maintain that level.
  11. ...so make The Daily Show an hour? Sounds good to me. Gives Stewart another segment to do the "news", and frees up time for some of the interviews they cut down and put on the web currently.
  12. I haven't seen it mentioned plainly, so just to let everyone know, there are TWO scenes during the credits of Cap 2. The second one is .
  13. Believe ain't too bad. It is kind of a cross between Heroes, and Touch. Good concept for a show, but they haven't really had a hook that makes it must-see yet.
  14. If you say "My Cocaine", you will sound like Michael Caine saying his name.
  15. I get what you're saying about some of the people on the periphery of the story, but a lot of the stuff about the LAPD's Rampart Division was ground breaking at the time, and led to various lawsuits & investigations. I believe thru Ms Wallace's lawsuits, the mystery was pretty much resolved along the lines of what was alleged in the docu.
  16. Yeah, we conclusively established that Spider-Man had the best rogues' gallery a while back. Don't know why this is coming up again. Sorry. Sometimes I skip large chunks of threads when the same people argue incessantly about the same things over and over again because they can't agree to disagree and move on. So I don't catch all the minutiae that creeps In on occasion.
  17. As far as rogue's galleries go, the only guy that can give Batman a legit run for the Money is Spidey. Green Goblin Hobgoblin Venom Doc Octopus Kingpin Electro Sandman Vulture Misterio Kraven And last but not least... J. Jonah Jameson.
  18. I hate to say this, but they seem to building to Boyd's death....
  19. RE: Jake from State Farm.... My wife teaches junior high in the inner city, and she said that anytime a kid in her class says something along the lines of "Who is this?", the kids all say "Jake from State Farm" and giggle hysterically.
  20. The diner scene was the best thing I have seen on tv in forever. Surprised this episode went down the way it did as .
