Good to see someone else playing this, it's fucking phenomenal. The advertising for it focused so much on the multiplayer aspect that I was expecting more of a throwaway party game, but it's actually a proper successor to the Galaxies. I bought a Wii U for it as soon as the glowing reviews started coming out, and it's a great console. The screen-in-the-pad thing seemed like a pointless gimmick on paper, but is actually fantastic. I've never been enough of a perfectionist to try and 100% anything, but being able to replay SM3DW levels on the pad while there's football on the TV is the perfect way to keep plugging away at the harder to find green stars without needing to devote whole evenings to it. It'll probably given me ADD, but then so does everything these days. What's important is that I'm halfway through World 9 with 242 stars and counting, but was still able to sort of watch Swansea vs Hull. I was so confused by all of this before realizing I'm an idiot and the 3ds game I've been playing is Super Mario 3d LAND. Makes a lot more sense now.

Picked up Super Mario 3D World and Zelda: Between Worlds the other day. Super Mario 3D World is a ton of fun. I'm through about 5 Worlds, and while not especially hard, I'm dying my fair share and really enjoying the 3D elements. The little propeller box levels can go fuck themselves though. I'm terrible at controlling it.

I had no idea there were so many 3DS gamers around here. I really need to comb through this thread to see what's good because Animal Crossing is starting to get a bit old and that's all I have. I got WWE 2k14 and Madden 25 for my birthday so I've been playing those recently. I didn't realize how little Madden I've played in the last couple years as I got beaten on PRO my first game against the Cardinals 21-7. I used to be able to jump into All-Madden with no problem. Stupid old age & decaying relexes. WWE2k14 has been pretty fun. Just finished WrestleMania mode the other day and I've been downloading CAWs to get started in Universe mode. I think I'm about done with GTA5. After getting up to level 25 I think I can pretty safely say that online isn't really my thing. I'll play around in single player missions awhile more but that's gonna get traded in soon for some 3ds games. I also got one of those retro-systems that play both NES and SNES games so I'm gonna spend boatloads on old games on EBay in the near future.

The Christmas update is out! Pretty similar to the structure of the Halloween update, but instead of GOO and Gremlins, you're collecting gift cards and leaving presents. There's also the addition of an arrow to flip between towns, which makes visiting everyone's town a TON quicker.

I don't know if there's ever been a more unlikeable final 3 in Amazing Race history. When the most healthy relationship is between the divorced couple (where the ex-wife strong armed a 60-40 split agreement of the money by threatening to drop out), there are problems. I felt so terrible for the one wife who was just getting verbally obliterated any time she wasn't 100% successful on a challenge to the point where she was a total shell by the end of the race. Added to that the winners who proclaimed themselves the best racers ever because they had the most SECOND place finishes of anyone in history. Hilarious. It was a shame because this was one of the better final challenges in Race history. Looking forward to the All-Stars season coming up to wipe this one out of my mind.

Somewhere on the caws.ws forum (in the thread that I believe is the working thread for KidKash's edits) that I just cannot find for some reason right now, there is a spreadsheet with adjusted attributes for a ton of CAW guys along with the main roster.

Just got Madden 25 for the 360 for the birthday and was wondering if anyone here has a preferred set of sliders? I know I found an awesome one of OperationSports last year but holy fuck are there a ton of them on there for this version.

The WrestleMania 2000 fatal four way match is hilarious. First I went outside the ring and let Foley/Rock destroy the Big Show, never once looking at me. Rolled into the ring for the pin for the first elimination. Then The Rock runs over to the announce table and just stands there until I go over to do the historical objective. Next I just throw Foley into the ring and pin him without having to do anything else and then The Rock becomes fucking superhuman and destroys me with the 4 Rock Bottoms he has saved up from beating everyone else and I lose. Add to that the complexly unbreakable stairs (due to a hidden objective) and Foley getting stuck 2 feet in the air until I brought him down with a spine buster. I've really enjoyed WrestleMania mode so far, but this match is really fucking stupid. edit: 2nd time through and I just lost to The Rock after he used a pedigree on me. Ugh.

Ha! This was with me. The first time I did hole 8 I got a quadruple bogey. It's taken me a lot of rounds to get decent at it. Next time I get together with a crew member, I really need to not be the one driving around. I almost killed us a few too many times.

I had my best round of golf this morning at -5 but the dude I was playing shot a -10! The guy played every shot absolutely perfectly (including a glitch on the 5th (I believe) hole where his drive shot off the lip of one of the bunkers and somehow went another 100 yards ending up on the green) - I was majorly impressed once I got over being pissed about wasting my best round ever.

FWIW, ESPN's Sportscience guys definitively proved that the ball was catchable without interference. I said this to alot of people IRL and it's my honest opinion, if Gronk made more of a play for the ball, instead of standing around begging for a flag, maybe they would have gotten the call. But they didn't. The better team won. Also, where's the outrage for no call on the Charles Johnson legwhip? Because that happens dozens of times every game and no one gives a shit about linemen. Unless said linemen are using racial slurs in voice mails to other linemen Speaking of which, I can't wait to see what the Panthers front 7 do to a Dolphins O-line down three starters.
