To be fair, I think the genesis etiology onset genesis (fuck it) or Feast or Fired (which has always involved briefcases) predates Money in the Bank. I could be wrong ... at work, can't really look it up. Also ... goddamn, do I want to see Angle/Richards. GodDAMN, I say. -

Wrestling Is... are mainly CHIKARA shows running CHIKARA storylines. If I had to guess I'd say that some angle concerning CHIKARA's return is to happen at this: http://nationalprowrestlingday.com/ True. And man, I wish they'd tile those wrestler pics a little better ...

Couple of things came to mind today (slow morning at work): 1. The WWE policy of editing out chokeholds and such suggests that we may never see the Cena/Umaga RR'07 match in its entirety again. 2. With the suggestion that WWE will start returning Benoit to their historical canon by way of disclaimers or advisories prior to those matches ... how's that going to work? What kind of wording will go into that? "Warning: The following match (or segment, as the case may be) contains scenes involving an individual who is a murderer. Parental guidance is suggested."(?) Open to War Games 1997, with Hennig viciously slamming the cage door on Flair's head, begging the question, "What exactly was the warning for again?"

I enjoy Gargano as well. Sure, there's ... whatever that vid was, but when he's on, he's enjoyable to watch. There was a DGUSA double shot where he wrestled Chuck Taylor in an I-Quit match, then took on Akira Tozawa ... I thoroughly enjoyed those matches as bookends. Plus, he tapped out Davey Richards at the recent PWG ASW ... hell, that's worth anything to me. When/if/whatever Chikara returns, I hope it means the return of F.I.S.T. as well, as that was one of my favorite stables.

I don't have them fancy embedding opportunities that some of y'all have on this little phone, but I'd like to mention those "Hangman's Horror" matches that TNA ran in the past. I think there were two or three of them ... absolutely ghastly concepts.

I don't recall the matches being that bad, per se, but there were two matches on seperate shows where Jake Roberts and Kevin Sullivan were guest referees (I'm almost certain the Sullivan reffed match was a Monster's Ball). Jake's involvement included his proclamation that he "ain't wearin' no stripes." So he reffed in street clothes. All the newfound love for Jake being what it is, that was ridiculous. But Sullivan's stint was worse. He didn't have problems with wearing the stripes ... he just didn't wear a shirt; he had black stripes bodypainted on his torso. And he randomly attacked heel & face alike during the match. Also ridiculous. (Or, in the spirit of the thread title, "riduclous.")

If I recall correctly, Kennedy injured Orton for the second time in a match on Raw. You could tell Orton was so damn angry. Kennedy was gone just a few days later. The sell for the move that was Kennedy's death knell - on the part of Orton - was ridiculous too. Orton took the move, rolled up to his feet while Kennedy's back was turned, mimed a few angry punches to his head, then flopped to the ground. It was on Kofi Kingston "STOOPID STOOPID STOOPID" levels, and I knew then that Kenneth was done.
