  1. Opening six man was pretty fun and thought the main event was very good. Reigns may be my favorite Rollins' opponent. Definitely figure Seth wins on Sunday. Looking forward to Aries/Neville 3. Those "this is your life" type segments will always a die a death, especially with the live crowd, but I thought Alexa was still great in it with her mic work and expressions. Her responses to the what chants are always the best.
  2. I love Never Back Down as well, and it's soundtrack. Definitely fun and one I rewatch often.
  3. Big Poppa Pump still rules! Shera/Sutter vs. KM/Kongo was a fun cluster of a tag but the post-match was awesome. Loved everyone involved's expressions, Sienna especially is great and Rosemary's always the best. Enjoyed the mixed tag, always a big fan of Alisha and the main event was solid as well.
  4. Dug the main event as well, awesome finish. Also really loved that Aries/Neville split screen promo, thought both guys were excellent there. Big fan of their rivalry.
  5. Tag titles match was real good again with some great near falls. Enjoyed the main event, closing shot of Styles and Nakamura facing off was pretty cool.
  6. Surprised to see Barb Honchak on the list since she hasn't fought in a couple of years now but would love to see her back. Elsewhere my favs from the list I'd like to see are Bennett and Stanley (and Murphy but she was already in UFC)
  7. Lots of matches tonight. I dug Matt/Sheamus and even though they were short Aries/Nese and Alexa/Mickie were pretty good so mostly the last hour. Alexa's knockout punch is just the best. Hated breaking up the Golden Truth but Goldust's promo tonight was cool. I would guess Seth is winning at Extreme Rules instead of Balor. I feel like they started or tried to start a Balor/Wyatt feud but it hasn't really happened yet so they'll do that while Seth wrestles Brock.
  8. My favorite as well and one of my all time favorite NXT matches.
  9. Decent show overall. Jinder winning was a real shocker, especially off one finisher without even a near fall there. Feels like Jinder got the best of Orton at every turn in the feud so I figured Orton would retain for sure and was looking forward to Orton defending against a variety of opponents. I dig the surprise factor though even if it does feel ridiculous for this to have been Jinder's third PPV match. Becky tapping out again was weak. Enjoyed Owens/AJ while it lasted. the Usos tag was pretty great and I liked Nakamura/Ziggler
  10. Very good Takeover as usual. Strong/Young was a hot opener, enjoying Strong's rise. Bate/Dunne was off the charts for sure. Wasn't that invested going in but it ended up blowaway great. I dig Bate's full beard look much more. Thought the women's match was a lot of fun with some solid spots throughout. I'll always enjoy Asuka. Guessing she drops to Ember in Brooklyn, which at least is so much better built to now. Another awesome Roode takeover match. A solid follow up to the Roode/Nakamura series which are in my top 5 matches of the year so far. Loved the rolling Glorious DDT finish. Never thought Itami was going to win but thought the card placement only made it worse and also telegraphed that something big was going down in the tag match. I figured it'd be the turn but hoped not. Did end up loving the ladder match. So many great spots, lots of false finishes and a killer finish. Didn't love the turn, cause I much preferred both guys together after never caring for either prior to their team but I think it will turn out well in the end.
  11. I know Agnieszka said she wants to get to UFC on her wins and not through a reality show so she wasn't interested.
  12. Solid stuff from the opening tag and Storm/EC3. Diamante interfering for LAX with a diving rana ruled. Kongo/Braxton was also pretty good for being much shorter but well executed match. Ultimate X was real fun with lots of cool spots throughout. Exciting finishing stretch and I dug Helms involvement, busting out the old top rope swing neckbreaker.
  13. Haven't seen it in a few years now but always love catching it when I see it's on somewhere. Huge fan of the opening and closing musical numbers.
  14. Enjoyed most of the matches here and loved the Usos' promo. It's not paranoia!
  15. More excellent Alexa Bliss mic work. Nice win for Alicia Fox. Crowd was hot for Dean/Miz, then crapped on the cruiserweights, then got going again for Reigns/Balor which was pretty good. Titus was rather amusing tonight. Also loved Angle in all of his segments. Very sad to see the end of the Golden Truth, always loved their tag remix entrance.
  16. Damn that's tough. Calderwood is a longtime top fav of mine while I've been loving Calvillo being on fire this year.
  17. Main event ended up very good. I've enjoyed all of Alberto's impact matches a lot so far, great selling here in this one. All the other matches were pretty short. The EC3 whipping of Storm was vicious. I hope they have a leather strap blowoff now. Laughed at Josh asking Pope how Marshe earned an Impact Grand title shot and Pope said he's earned some wins over some impressive athletes, but he's like 0-8 on Impact. The bizarre KM segments have become oddly hilarious to me.
  18. An all time fav of mine as well. I loved his initial 05-09 big babyface run, always came off like a mega star and remained the kind of badass babyface that never really got the fan resentment/backlash that Cena would get, during that time. He was on fire in 05, injury slowed down his 06 but bounced back huge in 07. Definitely wish he got to do a bit more in his last run.
  19. I think he could've been given more of a chance there after his big win, but they put the title back on Miz after just one month.
  20. One of my favorite matches of 2010, loved this. After the disappointing short match the prior month, this one killed it. Perfect payoff to the build, I absolutely loved that period of Drew's multiple feuds at once. The Drew vs. Teddy SD segment in the build that had Kofi and Matt both making the save but Drew laying out everyone was so effective.
  21. Solid show that went by quick. Edwards/Sydal and Alberto/Drake were both pretty good. Alisha's ramp dive ruled. Also enjoyed Sienna/Christina though it was rather short. The video package on Spud's recovery was ridiculous but the way he ended it was hilarious.
  22. Yokozuna, by a couple months younger than Taker.
  23. Love Alexa Bliss promo segments, great way to start the show off and thought the impromptu tag was really fun. Great finishing stretch with Mickie's big dive on Nia and Sasha landing a choice dropkick on Emma before Alexa nails the big finish. Alexa/Emma/Nia/Alicia would make a badass heel stable if they stuck together, loved the closing shot of them standing tall in the ring together. Raw got the better end of the Shakeup on Alexa alone and I've enjoyed Raw way more since after being a consistent believer in SDL is better since the draft. Felt like a lot of nothing followed, til the 3rd hour picked things up with that super solid Aries/Perkins match. Great selling from Aries all throughout. Thought the main event was fantastic after not expecting much going in. Crowd got crazy hot for it too. Usually hate "one legged" Seth overcoming the odds as of late but he performed well here. Had forgot about the Finn/Bray setup so I wasn't sure who would win but everyone looked great in it. Nice win for Miz, I dig his matches with Ambrose even if they just feuded a few months ago. Miz & Maryse remain one of the best acts going. Sounds great to me! I hope thats how it goes anyways. I haven't cared much for Sasha for awhile, mostly due to her character being dragged down in the best friend nonsense, but I know she still brings it in the ring. Interactions tonight had me wanting to see Sasha vs. Alexa and Emma.
