  2. Thanks Gents, i will get right on that.
  3. Only sporadically watched the Star Blazers series off and on. More of a Capt. Harlock fan myself. What order should I watch the available episodes on Netflix DVD followed by the feature films. I love Matsumoto's design and style, want to start from the begiining with this classic series.
  4. Based on the recommendations , I am giving Greg Proops' podcast a chance. Any others from the Whose Line Is it Anyway? cast?
  5. ...why the HELL aren't there more of those EVERYWHERE? That sums up my thoughts on this matter. I mainly played Tecmo Bowl and all the iterations of it that came out. For hours on end.
  6. I need to condition myself to watch Main Event on Wednesday. I keep forgetting it is on half the time.
  7. Did you recent the Dark Horse mini that just finished? I haven't but I am sure Stan Sakai did a smash up job. Have you read it yet?
  8. I read an article on Comic Book Resources a few days ago, Guillermo Del Toro hired Guy Davis (all around awesome human being and artist extraordinaire) as a production artists. No wonder the Kaiju came out looking the way they did, he mixes the best of classic SciFi monsters with a touch of Lovecraftian horror. If you haven't already you ought to check out his stellar work in the BPRD minis that are collected in trade paperback
  9. I enjoy the 47 Ronin story in all of the formats it has been presented. Whether comics, prose fiction, nonfiction, animation, etc.... I am not sure how I feel about Samurai Whooooaaaa and 47 Other Dudes The Creed movie sounds promising. This time we may see Rocky as "Mickey" type mentor
  10. I still do disc only. I don't have a laptop or Wifi and that would be the best outlet for streaming in my circumstances. International film wise check out Tai Chi Zero and Tai Chi Hero both are really fun flicks
  11. I finally broke down and bought from BSW on Monday
  12. Liquid Swords - made me run out and find Shogun Assassin for the samples Only Built For Cuban Linx - It had a purple cassete and was awesome. Raekwon had some serious heat. Ironman - Ghostface is probably the most consistent member of the Clan Return to 36 Chambers - ODB does what he does best , makes it dirty Tical - Method Man surprised me the most with this album, very put together No Said Date - Masta Killer was a pleasant surprise. Bobby Digital - A little too quirky and experimental Didn't really listen to the U-God, Cappadonna, or Inspektah Dek solo albums
  13. I have since about last December been a T-shirt collector. particular of the Limited Edition "1 day and they are gone types". these are the sites I usually hit up. Quite a mash up of geek culture and whatnot. BarberShop Window is strictly wrestling shirts. Enjoy Ript Apparel TeeFury ShirtPunch BarberShop Window
  14. Late on the chew bandwagon. I will probably try to grab the trades and see how I like them. Much like I am doing with SAGA. But I am interested in the POYO character. What can you tell me about this luchador masked fighting chicken that isn't spoilerific?
  15. Here are a few of the Podcasts I enjoy, no particular order Smodcast Fatman on Batman (Kevin Smith and his love for Batman among other Comic creators) Art of Wrestling Stone Cold Steve Austin Show Get Up On This (Although I really enjoy the spinoff within the show Get Off Of This, I still kind of think of Jensen Karp as a pretentious douche bag at times though) MetalCast ( a great heavy metal podcast usually broken down into the sub genres. Where else can i find a podcast on Pirate or Folk Metal specific)
  16. I have seen a bit about Scribblenauts : DC Unmasked, this might be the game that causes me to upgrade and buy a 3DS
  17. What about Big Bubba Rogers/Big Bossman/Ray Traylor where does he fit in the big man discussion? Edit: I see he was discussed earlier
  18. Based on the SyFy schedule, those who missed Sharknado last week are in luck! It is on tonight from 7-9. DVR is set to record!
  19. AAARGH, I wish i read comics digitally. Or had a tablet with E-reader capability. I have yet to buy Infinite Kung Fu in the paperback form but it is beautiful and I love kung fu flicks
  20. I have been tempted to go full force into DC nu with Demon Knights (cancelling, perfect time to jump in right??), Earth 2 and World's Finest (technically those books aren't really part of the reboot, or at least that is my rationality on the matter)
  21. Just watched Spring Breakers, interesting doesn't begin to cover my thoughts on this film. I was hooked by the concept of James Franco as Alien (Riff Raff or Dangeruss, whoever they want to say inspired the character) not sure about everything else though. 90's Justin would have thought this movie was awesome.
  22. Anyone read The Lives Of Tao by Wesley Chu? Seems like it could be a fun read, I was about to get it last night when i was in the local Barnes & Noble
  23. I saw that yesterday. I am curious how they are going to integrate those two distinct anime licenses. I am excited though
  24. Might read the Lobo (not sure why he is a villainn and not an anti-hero now) and the Earth 2 Villains Month books
