For the chain wrestling. You know, when New Jack hits people with a bicycle chain.
I'll show myself out.
If Gorilla Monsoon ever called a New Jack match, do you think he'd call him "The Excellence Of Execution"?

Man, comparing Stan Lane to Billy Gunn, your doing Stan fucking dirty. Gunn was perfectly passable, but Lane was at least a pretty good singles guy, and a billion times better then Gunn in tags.
You're right, I forgot all about Stan's memorable singles runs, like

He looks like he joined the Proud Boys.

Billy Gunn was an excellent tag team wrestler, but a mediocre singles wrestler. And there's nothing wrong with that! Not everyone gets to be Arn Anderson. The world needs Stan Lanes, too.

Uhm, he is 23. Or do you feel like it will be that long until crowds return?
He's a 45 year old playing a 23 year old. Family tradition, you know.

And Rico Constatino, Nick Dinsmore, Damaja, Doug Basham, and Flash Flanagan, all of whom were really good and deserved better careers in the spotlight. That generation got fucked hard by ECW and WCW flaming out.

My local place had Royal Rumble 1992 and everything WWF from 97 to 2000, but the specialty grocer on the other side of town had tons of 90's All Japan and New Japan bootlegs. I had to learn katakana to rent them so the whole endeavor was worthwhile.
I inherited a large collection of wrestling tapes that included a ton of bootleg tapes that my buddy had bought from an Asian grocer. I haven't gone through them yet, with the exception of an early NOAH tape that I randomly selected. The first show on the tape was a Halloween episode where the whole roster dressed up in costumes that concealed their identities. I was so confused at first. It took me a good half hour before I realized that it was a special event, and that NOAH didn't start out as a furry-themed comedy promotion.

watching a YouTube version of a Music City show from November 1998.. wondering if MCW is the wrestling show with the highest percentage of phone sex hotline commercials.
Some of the early episodes of SMW had almost nothing but phone sex line commercials.

Well sure, billiards has always been associated with crookedness. But out-and-out hippodroming? Have they no shame?
That's silly, hippos can't even hold pool cues.

Chris Jericho takes AJ Styles' biggest idiot in wrestling title.
Wait, did Flip Gordon and Will Ospreay retire?
14 minutes ago, Andy in Kansas said:Heck, as much as I love Otis and can tell he's the clear standout in that team, they'll probably come to realize he's best left with Tucker.
Otis doesn't have a prayer outside of a tag team. I could actually see Tucky getting repackaged and having a decent midcard solo career. He'll actually take bumps, for one thing.

The police have opened up an investigation, so he's not not in trouble.

Depending on who you sided with- for some its Hogan vs Savage WM5.
Savage was clearly in the right in this situation. There was definitely lust for Elizabeth in Hogan's eyes.
Speaking of, has there been another babyface who's given so many of his allies legitimate reasons to turn on him? You could argue that Savage, Andre, and Orndorff all were justified in turning on that leathery prick.

Was in a discussion today. What is the best monster face vs smaller faster heel match?
What was the heel/face alignment respectively in the Andre vs Hansen match in Japan?

Well, yeah. It probably won't last.

Aside from Eddie Kingston getting officially signed by AEW, the big news last night was that Chad Gable *might* have gotten his name back.
One can only hope.
Enjoy August. Especially as the US is like 2 weeks from locking down again.
Corbin noticeably called him "Chad" during the promo that set up the angle later in the show last night.

I thought that skit was in poor taste. It was a bad decision for it to make the air. Was it a Russo idea? Or has it been told anywhere that the skit came from the DX members themselves?
Excalibur is a co-founder/co-owner of PWG.

Well, he got suspended/banned by Twitch today, so he may want to Terry Funk that retirement.

Also just seeing this stuff makes me eye it cynically. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if they are thinking deep down about not bothering with fans anymore, in the same way grocery stores are doing away with self checkout lanes.
They are absolutely not thinking about doing away with fan attendance.

I'd like to think I'm a pretty socially conscious person. That being said, am I the only person that thinks this is much ado about nothing because he was a character saying a line in an angle at a wrestling show and not in real life?
Do you feel the same way about DX wearing blackface?
