And those were the two people in WCW with the most stroke, so no way in hell does that happen.
Really, they should've just had a damn wrestling match with a clean finish and no shenanigans. But then it wouldn't have been WCW, I guess.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it was testing him for torch passing.
I looked at it like this - Ambrose has been the mouth, Reigns is being setup for a long burning face turn which will probably see him dethorne Ambrose for the US or US+IC unified title. This was a showcase for Rollins, to remind people that he isn't just "The other guy" in the Shield and that he will be a more than viable midcard-to-upper midcard talent once the group implodes.
Yeah, everyone's bummed because Shield is splitting up for Reigns's singles push, without realizing that it means Rollins is probably going solo too. That's gonna be pretty great too.

Yeah, the AI is much better this time. No more wandering around for ten minutes with a stored finisher.

Man, that is great. Cena may be this or that, but the charity work he does for kids is fantastic. I can imagine it being heartbreaking to do at times too.
I volunteered at a children's hospital for a few short months a while back. It takes a pretty strong person to be able to do that sort of thing as much as Cena does. I couldn't deal with it.

Let's not start that up again, please.

It's old school because TNA will be out of business by the time it airs. This is their One Night Stand-style reunion show.

The people complaining about Bryan joining the Wyatts need to chill the fuck out. Every time they've tried to push Bryan down the midcard it's backfired and made hom more popular than ever. Hell, the Wyatts may end up as faces by the time Wrestlemania rolls around simply because of Bryan joining.

If he's looking to start a new promotion, he's probably banking on current TNA guys being available soon, one way or another.
-
Also, uhm, Big. E vs. Brock as the first part to a Mark vs. Brock feud? YES PLEASE!
Unless Brock suddenly decided he wants to work more than three matches a year, I think you're going to be disappointed.

Something that's been on my mind for awhile ...
Everyone gives Paul Heyman shit for being a liar/conman/whatever.
Why do guys like Lawler and Jerry Jarrett get a pass though? I've never seen any guy take either of them to task considering they robbed alot of guys blind, conned and lied to alot of guys just as badly, and probably over a longer period of time, as Heyman did.
It's probably a combination of:
1) Paul Heyman will work any angle because he's one of the true fucking pros (although, I'd say that about Lawler as well).
2) Vince and Trips pretty clearly hate Heyman.
Vince clearly does not hate Heyman.

Taylor Swift serial-dating her way through the TNA roster like a reverse CM Punk would make for at least one interesting/surreal album.

What's the general consensus on Killer Elite Squad? I've seen them work a couple of matches for NWA Houston, and I thought Smith and Archer were both really impressive. The match in April when they won the NWA tag titles was especially great. Haven't seen as much of their work in Japan, but I plan on getting caught up soon. I don't see a lot of talk about them, though. Thoughts?

"Road Beef" sounds like a late-90s WCW Saturday Night jobber gimmick name.

So trawling the youtube channel mentione above I stumbled accross this.
Pillman vs. Bagwell featuring Austin & Shane Douglas. 30 second match and then all hell breaks loose. Completely random, Bagwell seemed super over, all 4 brought the fire during the mayhem at the end.
Great stuff!
Damn, those were some vicious-looking Stun Guns Austin was dishing out.
-
And he'd lose to Kofi Kingston, so it'd be extra meaningless.
-
I'm pretty sure I could at least take Hornswaggle.
-
Gee, I really hope this turns into another round of everyone arguing about whether or not Punk and Bryan are believably tough enough to be main eventers.

I'm sick to death of every goddamn person acting like a "Mark Henry air bill" joke is still clever, original, or even remotely funny now (AH, yeah! Mark said that once 18 months ago! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!- Fuck, type "Mark Henry Air Bill" in the search engine, you'll probably get an error 404 from the overkill) but goddamn if I wouldn't pay money to see Mark as Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross. Bad ass reference that came out of nowhere. THAT'S how you make a Mark Henry joke.
"Air is for closers!"

Who was the announcer who said "the Pitbulls have been teaming for years, but that doesn't compare to the Ascension's unspoken chemistry"? Was that Riley? Because that was fucking awful.

Is Santa Claus OK? Did he avoid getting run over this time?
Let's all take a moment to remember that we are sort of in the middle of the one-year anniversary of the clumsiest, blandest, and most half-hearted face turn in history.
You could be talking about any number of face turns over the past year, really.

"Hey, that's my chicken suit!"

Only when the storyline dictates we need weight classes will we have them. Do we really want more segments with Bully Ray or Matt Hardy trying to make weight? Matt v2.0 was fun but no thank you.
No, but I'll definitely take more segments as good as Christian trying to cut weight in Kurt Angle's chicken suit.

Probably. I couldn't not try though. Shit
What were you going to say if you got through to him?

Between Kevin Greene and Mongo McMicheal, I think the wrong guy became a full-time wrestler. Greene looked better in the six man with Piper and Flair against the NWO than Mongo looked in anything he ever did.
