Just recently saw this, GODDAMN can't believe I missed out on this one until just recently! Sent me down the rabbit hole for more singles Suzuki matches as I'm sadly not that familiar with lots of his work but I'm correcting that asap
Check out his 30th anniversary match against Okada. They wrestle outdoors in a ring in the middle of a rain shower.

The Swamp is being drained in Pro wrestling. Like how Trump is exposing the Pizza gate scandals but people are actually getting repercussions from their offenses
Comet Pizza doesn't have a basement.

But if you want to be embarrassed in a society that allows these things to foster, I get it.
I'll get past it. I'm never going to abandon this dumb business that we all love. But the past couple of days have been tough.

I've been a wrestling fan for over 30 years, but this week is the first time that I've actually felt embarrassed about that.

It's hella funny just as I saw @EVA's reply up above, I was watching the WWF title match between HBK and DBS from IYH: Beware of Dog (aka God is the only thing that can shut down Vince McMahon) and Lawler's starts talking about accusations. Vince has the all time dagger when Lawler is clearly semi shooting about Vince sucking proverbial Shawn's dick at the time and not believing the (storyline) accusations.
Lawler: *going on and on and on" His own ex-partner said he only likes you if you're married.
Vince: I wouldn't give much validity to Marty Jannetty.
"Proverbial" might be doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

WCW had Goldberg as their S-Tier level guy. After that was DDP (who really should have been the one to beat Goldberg)... Steiner, and honestly, not much more beyond that.
Sting, Hogan, Flair...

I think Dolly Parton might literally be the only celeb that it's safe to like these days.

To spin off what I mentioned, and the Steiners in ECW thing, who are some other people that had short runs in promotions that you would have loved to see it last longer?
Ricky Morton; Jake Roberts; PCO; Hector Guerrero; and Marty Janetty all had brief runs in ECW, so that's my answer.

Was anyone rocking jorts and t-shirts before Raven? Because that definitely became a thing for a while.

Can someone explain what happened with Sami Callihan? I don't pay much attention to the latest sleaze and all I know is he accidentally hit Eddie Edwards with a bat and he started a big problem with security at an AAW show (accidentally, he said).
Alleged wife beater.

Bix or Kris?
Bix is MDK-affiliated, so it's definitely him.

How has Juicey Boy been doing? I stopped watching New Japan basically since they got dropped in the States.
He's been pretty good. He's not on the level of the higher end workers on the roster, but he can definitely keep up with them in the ring.
Dresses like an idiot, though.

Missy is great.
She blocked me on Twitter a while back because I pointed out that her views about how NFL players shouldn't kneel during the national anthem were borderline authoritarian.
Or it might have been because I told the guy who was white-knighting for her that she wasn't going to fuck him. It's hard to say.

Yeah, as much shit as HBK (deservedly) gets for being a colossal dickhead during his first run, he absolutely deserves praise for nutting up and doing business with Austin despite being in obvious and tremendous pain.

Roma was a good worker, he was just a bad fit for the Horsemen. Pretty Wonderful was a much better role for him.

I'm sorry but I just figured out which one is Adam Cole, Adam Page, and Adam Pearce so you none of them are allowed to move or I'll get confused again.
Pearce is the bald Adam; Page is the drunk Adam; and Cole is the fat Adam.

I think there was a similar (lack of) care when one of the Villanos suffered a neck injury in a tag match with Raven and Kanyon. Raven was pretty much the only one caring for the guy IIRC.
They actually stopped the match immediately. Raven knew the Villano was hurt, and Randy Anderson called for the bell within seconds.

Why the hell would Bliss be involved in a work with some random chode on Youtube?

I push back on Mr. JL because Jerry spent most his career as a nondescript jobber.
His feud against Lightning Kid in Global was highly regarded and pretty widely seen, though. "Nondescript jobber" is a bit harsh.

Honestly he still don't know how limited Edge is in the ring yet because he hasn't had a straight up match yet but he's so creative and smart.
Poppycock! Why, I bet he's capable of having The Greatest Match Of All Time.
