Honestly... I just hope to god (Rey Jr.) that if the show comes to an end, we get a clean break. All the wrestlers are allowed to go their own way and do what they want. No hassles, no asterisks in the contracts nobody noticed when they signed, no bullshit. The boys have been patient enough & it'd be beyond evil to tie them up like that MTV lucha show for no reason if a show doesn't exist any more.

BTW One of the hilarious things from the fallout of the incident is 50% of wrestlers on twitter talking about how things needs to change when it comes to bullying/hazing/etc & the other 50% screaming I'M GONNA KILL SEXY STAR WHEN I SEE HER. We need to get on the same page people!

Cody speaking out is probably the worst thing for her because for reasons unexplained he seems to be the ruler of indy wrestling - able to work wherever he wants & face whoever he wants. One day someone should do a podcast or lengthy bio or something on Sexy Star. I hestitate to say anything that may come off as a defense of anything she does b/c I think she's a terrible human being (not just wrestler) but this is all learned behavior. She spent the early part of her career getting abused by veterans, mainly both Apache sisters who everyone seems to love. They would routinely kick the shit out of her in matches & still brag about it to this day.

I don't know. I'm not familar with her aside from her work here locally. I'm just saying the facts - AAA is super into doing dumb worked shoots just to insult the intelligence of internet fans. I can totally believe Sexy Star did it & the match was a mess with lots of communication problems. For what it's worth it is in GFW's best interest to be angry and turn all negative attention on Sexy Star because it gets everyone away from talking about the fact Jeff Jarrett worked his match completely drunk last night.

Sit on this one for 24 hours and then react. AAA loves to do weird shoot angles to trick the internet and it's not like the folks associated with GFW/TNA are any different.

There are actually TWO Psycho Clown Jr's! Both equally adorable. The mother is a Casas daughter. So those kids are gonna grow up to be the first generation Brazo/Casas wrestlers and will be the greatest of all-time without question.

PREACH CASEY! It's hard to believe we're done season 3 (well the tapings are done...) and they've protected Vampiro's charachter way more than Pentagon. I mean... dude is a killer and just walked off sulking after losing last night like he was Cortez Castro or in the Rabbit Tribe. I'm half expecting them to start him feuding with Vampiro again based on that finish since Puma is moving onto Mundo and Penta has nothing to do. Yeah it really sucked going from such a high the previous week to such a low this week. Nothing they do now can ruin the greatness of season 1 & most of the greatness of season 2. They just got way too cute here in season 3.

Yeah, I dunno how even the loyalists defend the ending tonight. Atrocious straight out of WWE nonsense. 10 weeks of great build down the drain. Dario going full heel so the group with aliens, gods, dragons, time travelers, etc still has to use the heel authority figure trope. I don't know who thought this was a good idea but it killed so much of my goodwill the show had. Tournament final wasn't so hot either but seemed heavily edited. Not sure for messed up moves or time shaving. Vampiro was everywhere including a point in tourney final where camera kept cutting to random shots to avoid showing him doing a lap around the ring even though you could clearly see everyone in the crowd watching and reacting. Super. Dario & Vamp end up as the two most important dudes was the story told. Don't even get me started on the Sexy Star nonsense.

Ultima Lucha 3 is still weeks away. Cubsfan said there are 10 episodes left, 9 after tonight I guess. If Canada stays ahead with 3 episodes per week, we get Ultima Lucha at the end of August & I think you guys get it in October. Tonight's show closing roster brawl was my favorite LU segment in history. Just amazing.

Chris DeJoseph's recent tweets indicate either he got bad news recently or he's just completely frustrated at nothing moving forward.

Weird Arena Mexico show tonight in the sense they seemed to lift all restrictions and guys were going all out from opener on. Thought the best match was the segunda with Felino's offspring as usual. Their matches with the Panthers are usually good to very good but due to card placement they are so limited it's hard to say excellent but I think this entered that territory with them not holding back and getting to fly around. Lots of Anniversary storylines moving forward. Weakest match was probably the Adonis six man but the post-match made up for it with a weird un-CMLL like moment that got real heat rather than the fake heat if you know what I mean. Rush vs Azul tried to be like Rush vs LA Park in the 3rd fall especially but at least they didn't have their usual awful match and did a clean finish. Juice Robinson & Matt Taven are in next Friday. Perhaps others too.

Yes, if you were not following my surprise on twitter it's true. TLN is actually 2 weeks head, they aired the semi-finals show & finals/Rey Jr. vs Mundo tonight. If you missed it, it will repeat tomorrow 3-6pm EST & again on Wednesday I think. Or they could air the rest of the season in tmrw's block for all I know, I have no idea at this point. I'm sure it will leak online (not through me, I am not computer saavy) somehow & if TLN keeps staying ahead the season will be done in 2 weeks meaning the El Rey numbers will probably TANK since out of those 100,000 regular viewers you gotta figure it's the most hardcore of hardcore fans who will know how to download the shows online and have no need to wait.

Just finished the CRASH semi-main from Saturday and highly reccomend it! Great old school brawl with Garza Jr./Bestia 666/Black Danger as asshole rudos kicking the crap out of the tecnicos Daga/Jack Evans/Oraculo. Tons of heat. Every tecnico comeback is foiled so the crowd gets angrier and angrier. Jack goes out on a stretcher which first Bestia knocks over and destroys Jack more, then Garza runs into crowd to knock it over again and takes a swing at a fan heading back into the ring. All builds to a great finish where the rudos get what's coming to them except Garza Jr. since he's the chickenshit who runs away to safety. Most CRASH matches are all about the MOVEZ which is fine by me but this made for a great change of pace and the crowd being so into these guys helped a lot. Garza Jr. is a heat machine.

I thought the Cometa/Soberano/Panther vs NGD match was the second best CMLL match this year only behind the Parejas Incriebles tournament final. It hasn't been the strongest year match quality wise obvioiusly but those two are head and shoulders above anything else really.

Oh me oh my FOX vs PUMA. That was what LU should all be about. What a match! Easily best of the season IMO. And this show was the perfect LU formula of great in-ring action & continuing many stories. The Dominic angle was great. I WANT THAT REY HOODIE IMMEDIATLY

OMG Fenix vs Pindar!!! That almost makes up for not airing the Aero Star vs Pindar dark match.

Still really annoys me the way this show fucks with everyone except Sexy Star. She couldn't even take a pinfall last week so they had Matt Striker scream about how she got DQ'ed because Dario Cueto ordered the refs to be strict and enforce the rules. This was a week after we saw interference in matches. Then this week EVERY MATCH had a run-in or distraction without the refs calling shit. It's super annoying. (Also as pointed out elsewhere - Luchasaurus got counted out to lose his match while Taya/Crane went fighting in the crowd for 10 minutes)

hahaha I totally missed that. Good catch! I'm happy the first round is over. Hoping the next round is a little more competitive and way less overbooked. Every match was either a squash or some nonsense way to get out of a finish. Obviously the common thread in LU is protect Sexy Star at all costs b/c she's the star of the project but that finish today was so lame, made only worse by Matt Striker screaming about Dario wanting referees to call this tournament strict after we've seen multiple tournament matches (including the main event tonight) have interference with no DQ's called. Fuck two weeks ago Paul London's partners literally walked through the ring without even a threat of DQ. The Rey/Mundo build is so great and overshadowing everything about this tournament. I cannot wait for that match!

Why? It's just a stupid title & AAA is a house of cards just waiting to fall. Mundo only works there when they can gather up enough money to pay him. Taya hasn't been showing her dates lately likely due to the same reason. This could be one big dumb working the internet deal that means nothing or Vamp getting annoyed at something and acting without thinking about pissing off the fiancee of the guy who holds all the AAA titles. Either way it's hilarious. (And tweeting about being at RAW had nothing to do with anything.)

Guys I'm not even joking... the CMLL Universal tournament Block A was fucking great to watch live! 4 really good matches by my count - even DRAGON LEE VS LUCIFERNO! Crowd was so hot for Casas. 56 YEAR OLD NEGRO CASAS TOOK A SUNSET FLIP BOMB TO THE FLOOR IN A POINTLESS TOURNAMENT MATCH! LEGEND! It was a great show.
