  1. Joe C. must've been a hell of a worker.
  2. I think FSW's biggest problem with the Shield is that they're a buncha Crossfitters. Harley Race didn't do kipping pullups!
  3. I feel like Jarrett would have better success with an all-women's organization a la GLOW. There's plenty of talented women they could poach from Shimmer, OVW and the other indies. Ms. Chif, Serena Deeb, Cheerleader Melissa and Awesome Kong are all free-agents who could serve as faces of an organization. They wouldn't be direct competition for WWE so there's not the stigma of being a WWE wannabe which is always the reaction I hear when I've shown my non-wrestling fan friends TNA. Jarrett has to know the biggest success he had with TNA was the Knockouts. They consistently scored the highest ratings (which isn't saying too much when TNA maxes out at a 1.2) and were at one time a focal point of the shows. The real struggle would be Jarrett finding someone who could book them in a decent way and not just recreate TNA but with Women.
  4. They can salvage Sin Cara. Turn him into a real life version of King from Tekken. Frankensteiners, Tombstone piledrivers, kick-ass jaguar masks. The kids will love it.
  5. You are one grumpy dude. And especially towards the women... Hmm..... Wait... I thought Ebbie was a woman. Hence all the fawning over Wade Barrett.
  6. I'm actually really enjoying Triple H right now. A lot has been written about him burying people and much of it true but he's also the same guy who tapped to Benoit and Cena at Wrestlemania, put Batista over in every big match, and put DB over cleanly at WM. The fact that he's on TV every week showing ass against the Shield shouldn't come as much of a surprise. After all, say it with me now, it's what's best for business.
  7. Shit, if that was Davey Richards he'd take those kicks then give both Bucks a Tombstone/Jig N' Tonic combo piledriver 10 seconds later.
  8. How nice was it to not have John Cena show up and completely blow off his loss from the night before? It makes the Wyatts look better and gives Cena some "doubt" to play off in the upcoming weeks. Other than that, I dig battle royals so the opener was cool. The six-man was pretty good. Rollins is crazy. He's a top 3 best worker in the entire company in my opinion.
  9. Danny Castillo looked like Little Mac throwing the Star Punch when he KO'ed Brenneman.
  10. Stamkos gets thrown down by Prust and then eats a Shining Wizard in the back of the head by Emelin. No calls of course. Only in Montreal.
  11. Bolts locked up home-ice against the Canadiens in the battle to see who gets slaughtered by the Bruins in Round 2.
  12. When does Lita get to the part about sleeping with El Dandy?
  13. Who cares if Michaels was a piece of shit backstage? Is that something that actually detracts from your enjoyment of watching his matches? If 10 years from now we find out that Reigns was politicking and backstabbing guys will you say that he was "a whiney little shit?" I've seen that talking point on here several times that since Shawn was a prick backstage and "lost his smile" or whatever that he's somehow less of a wrestler. All I care about is being entertained. Michaels in '96 has the Mankind IYH, the Bulldog matches, the Iron Man vs Bret at WM 12, Diesel at Good Friends, Better Enemies, a fucking great match vs Sid of all people at Survivor Series. Shawn Michaels was the man in 1996. Reigns is good. Shawn Michaels is better.
  14. First shots of the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and what's probably a rough sketch of what Ultron will look like in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
  15. I showed my girlfriend that video and she actually agreed with Cena. Gym clothes get really stinky so why not have a separate clothes hamper?
  16. I was a big mark for Ellis' Thunderbolts run so I'm all in with Moon Knight. He did the best job writing Norman Osborn during his big heel run in the Civil War/Initiative arc. Specter is as big of a whackjob character as Osborn but with with a more antihero edge. If Marvel can keep Ellis interested long enough to get through a few arcs this could be a lot of fun.
  17. I'm not really feeling Bray's promos. It's a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing. His matches are starting to come together nicely. I dig his crossbody and he's the only guy besides maybe Alex Shelley who makes the Complete Shot look any good. Bray's highs (the Bryan SS match, the Elimination Chamber tag against the Shield) are fantastic but other than that he didn't do much for me. Harper outshines him a lot in the ring. Cena's hasn't had the highs that Bray's had but he's way more consistent. I'm always impressed by how he wrestles against big guys like Brock and Henry. Just amazing stuff. His promos swing wildly from annoying and childish to passionate and convincing. The Rollins and Cesaro matches are great examples of why Cena is the company ace. He made those 2 look like world-beaters in a way that I don't think anyone else could. In the end, I vote Cena.
  18. One of these things is not like the other.
  19. This right here. I remember reading on here just last week about how at least back in the Attitude era everyone had a character or storyline. I think they've done a good job establishing why Christian and Sheamus are fighting. Christian came back from injury and he's "desperate" according to Cole. Sheamus Brogue-kicked him on a Smackdown costing them a tag match. Christian pinned him at Elimination Chamber which made Sheamus angry. They wrestled each other the next night on Raw and Sheamus won. Christian's butt-hurt so he attacked Sheamus on last week's Smackdown while Sheamus was wrestling Del Rio. That's why they wrestled again last night. Pretty simple A-B-C booking.
  20. I wonder if that fits into Rock's macros.
  21. Watching King of the Ring 1993 and it's pretty good. Obviously Bret and Razor put on an excellent match but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Mr. Hughes vs Mr. Perfect. Perfect made Hughes look like a world-beater with the way he bumped for his offense. Hughes was surprisingly quick such a big guy too. I was surprised that the announcers (Heenan, Savage and JR) acknowledged the "controversy" over Yokozuna challenging Hogan for the belt instead of Bret Hart. Seems like something that Vince would wanna keep quiet. Yoko was SO GOOD in this match. Even his simplest offensive maneuvers look like it could end the match and his wobbly big-man selling was top notch. Crowd was super-hot too which was fun.
  22. Bryan in his ROH heel champion phase vs. current day Bo would be tremendous. It would make my heart happy to see Bo get stretched six ways to Sunday.
