    Nobody else really digging the trios match this week between the Wyatts and Sin Cara/Matadors? The bulk of the match was really strong, had a really cool spot with Harper hitting an Eddie Guerrero style senton over the ropes and the finishing run was really exciting. I think people would be going nuts about this if it had been on Raw, or indeed on Main Event back when it was WWE's best show.

    Fuck, that sucks! I mean, it's horrible for that to happen to anyone, but Okabayashi is such a great talent too. Gutted.

    I thought Wyatts vs Usos was easily the best match on the show, six man that you already mentioned was fine too. I liked Rey/Del Rio too but it's not exactly a must see.

    Hot Rod Biggs vs Chris Michaels - SAW 19th Jan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDf1peeMZxo (33 mins in) I enjoyed this a lot. Hot Rod shocked me, as he's another guy that I kind of wrote off based on look but he was so much fun here with his goofy selling, meaty elbow drops and some really choice weapon shots. Michaels seemed a little slow on his comeback, but he sold great. Biggs took a lovely dustbin shot at one point, falling throat first on to the middle rope which looked really cool. The finish looked cracking too. A really fun ten minutes, I could see people going either way on this but it's definitely worth checking out.

    Are you watching the UK version? They keep in the app commentary and don't edit out the advert breaks in most of the matches.

    Thought about this the other day - how good would it be to have Goldust down for one of the tapings? I'd definitely take him over someone like Kofi, I could see Goldust vs Rusev being a lot of fun. Even The Rhodes vs The Ascension.

    That tag title match was great, one of the best efforts from either team. UK version of Smackdown once again didn't edit out the commercial/app break, so it's out there in full assuming anyone wanted to see the complete match.

    Did the US version of Smackdown clip any of the matches for advert breaks this week? Because for at least the last two weeks, all the matches on the UK version have been in full - Rollins/Cena and Ziggler/Orton both had a couple minutes worth of silence during them, and then later references on commentary to "what just happened on the app" and "welcome back to Smackdown", even though nothing was cut out from either match and it hadn't cut to a break.

    Fandango was pretty fucking great in that match, I thought. Swagger/Goldy was probably better overall, but I was really impress with Fandango - it looked like he'd been having a few training sessions with Regal or Finlay.

    Didn't know where best to put this, but it deserves attention. Check it out, from Preston City Wrestling, it's five minutes of fun with loads of guest appearances. Who doesn't want Johnny Kidd WWII flashbacks?!

    I'd say 2013 is hands down the best year for WWE in terms of great matches on all the shows. Occasionally there's been a great run on Smackdown, but in comparison Raw has been poor (and vice versa). But this year, there's been great matches consistently across all four main shows, and whilst Superstars is nowhere near what it was, there's still been some fun output from that too.

    Yeah, I don't have the strongest of attention spans so I gave up on Jericho's pretty quickly.

    Considering they don't have him work singles much, I really enjoyed Snitsky's match with Benoit this week.

    The Cougar Life promo is epic, I damn lost my shit listening to one of those on the bus the other day.

    Even if the TV listings said that, I'd imagine the network would have a website with more in-depth listings.

    Given PS's apparent past behaviour, it would probably have been funnier had Jinder played him.

    Shame they cut out so much of the Usos vs the Wyatts, that was a really fun long match live. It was still good on TV, but a lot of the heat got axed.

    Both Zayn and Ziggler have taken it, I can't link right now as in on my phone but both the matches are on YouTube. Ziggler match is from Superstars, Sami took it in the 2/3 falls from NXT in what was one of the greatest finishing sequences I've ever seen.

    Bless Chimmel, he took the second one right on his shoulder. Should be noted that the opening tag was longer than you'd probably expect, and despite being pretty chinlocky was really good. Some of that will probably be lost to an advert break or two anyway.

    Make that four - I really liked the tag he did with the PTP on Main Event as well. It got a good amount of time and both the babyfaces worked really hard in it as well. I'd probably rate it above the Bryan match.

    The whole "women need more than 90 seconds" could be accurate enough. I genuinely saw some decent (and one good by any standards) Kelly Kelly matches on house shows that went like 8 mins. Sure, her personal execution of some stuff was a little off, but her and the Bellas seemed to work way better in the house show environment than when they got thrown in to a minute long tag on TV. Back to NXT, I'll echo most everyone's sentiments on the main event. Harper is a pretty great throwback to when guys didn't have to kill themselves to be over or have good matches.the more I see of Ohno, the less I think he'll get the call up. Green as he is, Mojo Rawley looks a ton better and had discernible attributes and personality. Without a complete overhaul, I just don't really see what Ohno is, as talented as he can be in the ring.
