  1. Wasn't Dillinger released for a while after his ECW stint?
  2. Easily the best ever three hour Raw I'd say. I literally didn't skip one segment, and considering I normally get through it in an hour or less, that's some accomplishment. Still nothing amazing, but a great opening segment with Cena, a couple of really fun matches in Harper/Ambrose and Show/Bryan and a dramatic closing angle. Works for me.
  3. Yeah, I'd give that stip about two weeks.
  4. If the first set of 2015 tapings are about to happen, does anyone know when the first episode from said tapings should air?
  5. He worked Sin Cara on Superstars recently and it was *really* good. Clearly a guy who was trying to make the best of what he had in terms of card positioning, and Sin Cara more than did his bit as well.
  6. Something along the lines of this would be fun. I can't see them going with Ziggler against HHH, but that would be a great match for him over another mid-card IC title defence. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Brock Lesnar © w/ Paul Heyman vs Daniel Bryan Rusev vs John Cena Sting vs Bray Wyatt Dolph Ziggler vs Triple H w/ Stephanie McMahon Dean Ambrose vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins WWE Divas Championship Nikki Bella © w/ Brie Bella vs Paige Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Randy Orton vs Luke Harper Bad News Barrett vs Sheamus (heel)
  7. Between the great main event, a teased Titus push, Sasha vs Charlotte and that one Rosebud in the little black dress - this was one of the better Main Events in recent memory. Crowd were not biting on E&C's comedy routine at all, but Rose did fine and his girls were smoking hot.
  8. That was a pretty damn good match too, but that finish is awesome.
  9. Best thing was Luke Harper and Mizdow's interaction. Couldn't care less about the millionth Rollins/Ziggler match.
  10. Still not as bad as the short time that Coach referred to Goldberg's finish as the "Jackhammer slam".
  11. Finally? I know her character is protected more than most but she was thrown face first it to a paddling pool of what they tried to sell as shit a couple of months ago. That being said, yeah she was great here.
  12. Yeah, Sami beat Curt Hawkins and Cesaro in his debut night on TV.
  13. The first three quarters of the show was pretty forgettable, but I loved the main event. It looked like Titus was really making Sami fight for his comebacks, made the whole thing looks way more credible. I hope Titus sticks around for a while, I'm liking this run.
  14. This week has Cesaro vs Kofi, which is definitely worth going out of your way to watch. Not on the level of their Main Event match from a year or so back, but still really good stuff and they get a decent amount of time.
  15. Rusev using "anus" three times in one promo was marvelous. Tidy match too, with a great finish.
  16. "What does 'shucky ducky quack quack' actually mean?" "It's a term" "...I know it's a *term*!" Killed me.
  17. The Rusev/Big Show build was fantastic, I'm totally sold on Rusev as a performer. His broken english mini-promos are great, and I can't wait to see a match between him and Show.
  18. Enjoyed JR's podcast with Dave Meltzer, not normally a big fan of the Ross Report but Meltz is always such an engaging guest on these things and seems genuinely enthusiastic about wrestling.
  19. Sandow was amazing in that Miz TV skit. Add to the fact that Ambrose is always great and Miz himself is probably on the most entertaining run of his career, and that was a pretty great segment.
  20. It's blatantly one of those names that we'll scoff a bit at first, but in a year nobody will bat an eyelid. Dolph Ziggler is as ridiculous a name as you'll realistically ever hear, but it's a complete non-issue.
  21. Really? Maybe because I actually watched the opener live and unspoiled which I normally don't, but I really enjoyed that tag match. Best Sandow has been allowed to look in ages, and whilst there were a couple of ropey moments (Truth isn't going to be perfectly replicating any of Dolphs moves any time soon) I thought it was really good. Skipped out on the rest of the show though.
  22. Jericho is at WWE all the time though, so has way more access. I'm sure Austin will get him at some point.
  23. He was heel for a brief run against RVD in early 2002.
  24. I thought Smackdown was a really tight show this week, nothing was less than watchable and it made for fun TV that breezed by. Surprised to see Miz job out that quickly, but the following brawl was great, as was the Randy decimation of RVD. Swagger/Rollins and Wyatts/Rhodes Bros were damn good TV matches, and both Sin Cara/Rusev and Natalya/Paige were fine fare too. Tom Phillips wasn't bad on commentary either, he slipped on names a couple of times, but he wasn't instantly buried by JBL so that's something. JBL made a good point in the opener about Swagger doing the Swagger Bomb out of instinct and adrenaline, so I'd chalk tonight up as a minor commentary win too. Randy took that Superman punch like a pro to close the show.
