  1. Miller and Joel Anthony were the only two guys under consideration for amnesty with Miami. While he doesn't contribute nearly as much as Miller, Anthony's salary is much lower and cutting him wouldn't help that much with the lux tax. They should be able to find another sharpshooter. I think they're pretty high on James Ennis, who they go in the second round during this year's draft. They may have him go to Europe for the year, though. It remains to be seen if they pursue Greg Oden.
  2. Judgmental much? I have ESPN Radio on at work, so it's by default that I listen to him sometimes. Even with that, I find myself turning him down and listening to some music on YouTube. Coach isn't a terrible radio host, but I don't think he's found a true rhythm yet.
  3. Murphy's track record suggest that he didn't think far enough ahead. The first wave of Gleeks had to graduate, and only Rachel and Kurt were slam-dunks to attend a Julliard-type university, so having all of them attend the same college 90210 style couldn't happen. A Degrassi approach could have worked, but it's too late now. Also, the next season will be postponed, obviously to accommodate for Monteith's passing.
  4. For anyone who would like to make a suggestion for my viewing displeasure, feel free. I have a list from the dearly departed DVDVR V3.0, but I don't have the names of who recommended which movies.
  5. With all the hoopla surrounding his departure from the Manning camp, I can see Manziel dropping further than that. At least Tim Tebow wasn't ever going to be a problem off the field, other than his crazy fanbase. Manziel has mechanic problems and a lousy attitude. Not good.
  6. He was on Coach's ESPN radio show last week and he mentioned his podcast. Glad to hear that it's good. I may have to catch it sometime.
  7. Has any DVDVR thread ever stayed on track? The next time will be the first time. Enjoy the madness!
  8. That's why Peyton left Indy. He couldn't compete with young Horse H**g Luck! I've heard Clydesdale thrown around to describe him.
  9. Hate to see Miller go, but his salary pushed Miami way into the lux-tax penalty. Arison clearly wants to keep down costs. Miller will always have his seven 3-points aginst OKC and his Shoeless Joe moment this year in the Finals.
  10. Thanks. Of course, the incenctives is under the guise of 'exemplary work above and beyond what your base salary covers.' And I don't how much the incentives will be or how often we can receive them. I suppose I'll have to pose that question to my boss. Ever so politely, of course.
  11. STUPID. I understand liking/loving/defending your star QB on the internet. That's pretty normal. But to send the guy gifts? Hell to the no! Peyton wasn't about to get a stroller out of me when his twins were born. Andrew Luck will not be getting an electric wok from Amazon out of yours truly. If they can't afford to buy their own stuff, put on a credit card and pay it off in 3 years like the rest of America. As for peen pics, ehhh--maybe the jump-off has them. I have seen an 'imprint' photo. But that she's already been blown off by a couple of gossip blogs suggest she hasn't shown anyone the goods. She better put up or shut up, and fast.
  12. Seems like my pay was so low, I qualified for an increase of around $900/year. Not much, but I'll take it. They're also looking to start an incentive award program to give staff legitimate reason to kiss butt. We'll see how this works out.
  13. Let me put this out there for all would-be pro athlete groupies: If the man buys you the $99.99 starter necklace from the Jane Seymour collection at Jared, you are not important to him. He will not leave his main piece for you. You're nothing to him, you can be discarded, you will be replaced and when you run to the media to tell your story, we will laugh at you for being so stupid. This lesson in Heaux-nomtry was brought to you by the BLR/Save No Professional Heauxes Foundation. Thank you.
  14. While I think Zimmerman has racial predjudice in him, I agree that he would have killed someone sooner or later. It's who he is. He's determined to be Dirty Harry, when he's not even smart enough to be Paul Blart. What's really sad is that Zimmerman thinks he did the world a favor with killing Trayvon. Dude is Lock-Up come to life. Scary as hell.
  15. Good. She best stay quiet. Folks all over are searching for her info. Some think they have it already.
  16. Teddy Bridgewater is the big name. AJ McCarron will be on the list. Not sure about who else at this point.
  17. Sort of. Any more information, and I'll have to get someone to tear up Derrick Rose's OTHER knee.
  18. Dude is so having an out-of-body, get me out of here experience.
  19. This looks good. I'm interested mostly because of Steve McQueen. He seems to tackle tough topics in straightforward fashion. I like that, so I'm willing to give this a chance.
  20. *sigh* Remind me again why I try to be nice to you? This is why we can't have a nice BLR in DVDVR-Land, Jae.
  21. That Sly Stone photo is creepy and cool at the same time.
  22. B37 is planning to write a book about her time as a juror. Excuse my language, but f**k that heifer and her mentality. Then again, she risks having her real name being discovered if she goes through with her attention whore ways and all the baggage that comes with it. She may be in over her head. No better for her.
  23. I just presume that I am, since I'm me and they're them. It's just the most logical conclusion to draw.
  24. That corresponds with what I read somewhere else. The cast of Glee performed at the White House--for the Easter Monday egg roll, I think--and apparently, Cory was the only cast member that interacted with the 'regular' guests and took time to talk with everyone. By all accounts, he really was a nice guy.
