Wait, isn't it still Crypto.com Arena? I wasn't aware of that particular crypto sight going bust and being revealed as a scam yet.

It is, he's just being a Contentious C.

Plus, his post helped the Lakers win against the Suns on their own Create-A-Court.

Aaand, LeBron was doing it as hard as he's ever done it before.

    So there's that.

    Mega Burn

  2. Really good finale.

There were already a number of D+ Marvel shows out when I started my MCU journey a couple years ago, this show was one of the ones that I had the least enthusiasm for and it turned out to be one of the best.

Just need to watch the last Ant-Man and the GotG3 films and I'll be caught up and ready for The Marvels.

  3. I saw 6 dead deer on or in the road on my way to work last week.

They all had more situational awareness than Zach Wilson.

That game Monday night was Garoppolo-level bad.

Can't wait to see Rodgers hobbled, again, by that O-line.

  4. I can't argue with anything Rich Eisen said.

McDaniels and Ziegler should have never been hired in the first place.

Garoppolo is going to be scapegoated, but he was doing the best he could against the Lions.

Poor guy looked like he just got out of the hospital and was mugged on the way to Starbucks.

Let me once again praise the Lions for helping get rid of two of the Raiders latest mistakes.

  5. @Contentious C, I'm glad to see we share common ground on a number of films.

Sometimes I read your reviews and wonder "what is your major malfunction", but that is the beauty of the arts, as we all get something a bit different from the same source material.

I happen to love (most) of the films of John Carpenter, but he's had such a variety of subject matter that it would be hard to like them all.

The Fog in particular is one of my favorites of his.

One of the most efficient ghost stories ever put to film.

Do you really want Antonio Brown to play with Patrick Mahomes?  We'll forget he's crazy all over again.

It looks like the only way to take down the Chefs is from within.

    AB would be perfect.

Their receivers have been so disappointing they've traded for the ghost of disappointment past.

    They should sign Antonio Brown.

He needs the money and I need a laugh.

How was that movie? I was interested but never checked it out.

I liked it, but I'm a guy that'll watch Bruce Campbell drink a cup of tea.

The story was no great shakes, but it was a fun popcorn flick.

  9. Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things has been a favorite of mine since discovering it on a local TV station back in the 70s.

It's dripping in atmosphere, which is enhanced by the horrible lighting.

The cast perfectly encapsulates the local theatre/filmmaking scene with it's mix of characters and silly dialog.

And they beat Fulci with that ending by many years.

The siege is almost an afterthought, as by the time it happens you're really ready for Alan to get his.

Great choice @The Comedian and great writeup @twiztor.

  10. Hey @J.T., how do you feel about another set of icons in the horror community, namely The Firefly family from Rob Zombie's Firefly Trilogy?

I haven't seen the Terrifier films, so i can't make any comment as to Art The Clown, but the Firefly's seem to share many of the traits you attributed to Art.

Now that I think more, Zombie's Michael Myers has some of the same characteristics, as well.

I find the Firefly's films to be a hard rewatch, although I do pop on House Of 1000 Corpses when I'm feeling sentimental that way.

But Zombie's Halloween films are easy for me to pop on and enjoy, go figure.

Hell, I still have trouble thinking of Chucky as a "Horror Icon", but he is and that's all on me.
