  1. The timeline is weird. Smash became Repo Man in 1991, Max Moon didn’t become a thing until late 92?
  2. While quoting the first few lines of an old gospel hymn.
  3. That’s a special kind of grift to deliberately cover the Ted DiBiase portion of that banner. Ol’ Virg stole it from a convention, didn’t he?
  4. I’m just glad Harley’s nutsack isn’t hanging out of his shorts…
  5. Also kind of like how Nash reminisces that Shawn loved having summers off, he’d fail a drug test or get an injury.
  6. But would Gorilla Monsoon stop calling him a piece of garbage every time he saw him?
  7. That is amazing…and scary accurate. If you haven’t already, subscribe to the GorillaMonsoon podcast on Twitter.
  8. Wasn’t it something about staying out of jail, or some such? I recall a board member years ago talking about it.
  9. I’m sick. I cannot process this. What!? What!?
  10. Terry Funk was “over the hill” (his words), “middle aged and crazy” virtually my entire life. Im now middle aged and its hard to process living in a world where Terry won’t pop up in a cameo to put heat on an angle anymore. That night before Rumble 97 Shotgun Saturday night from San Antonio (with a young and hungry Stone Cold on color) was fantastic TV.
  11. Terry Funk coming out to that crazy harmonica theme at Bash 89 is an underrated entrance. He felt…dangerous.
  12. Arguably the greatest to do it…RIP Terry.
  13. Two things: Fred Blassie was the King of Men, and washing a naked Happy Humphrey with a rag and water hose would age a man in dog years. Imagine how handsome Harley would have been otherwise? Friggin kids get off my lawn.
  14. Two things I took away from last nights episode... 1. Leaving the cage should constitute a ‘surrender.’ 2. Sammy Guevara can’t dance for shit.
  15. The people in Greenwich just knew at that moment trash moved into their neighborhood.
  16. Andre eliminated himself after stepping over to go after Michael Hayes who interfered on Gordy’s behalf. That was from early 1983 on WCCW TV not long after the Freebirds turn.
  17. If my memory serves, it was indeed intended to be placeholder to give Maggie May something to do until Starrcade where he’d have another I Quit with Nikita.
  18. So many classic stories and memories…my first Sheik memory was the old LJN commercials where he showed up in the living room, or the “Back to Class!” RIP.
  19. The only thing shittier than that take is the font itself.
