  1. Very amused to see so many of my fellow Cowboys fans fawning over Wentz as if Dak had already shit the bed today. Cuckboys has a nice ring to it.
  2. They pointed out he was making a mistake. It was part of the match.
  3. Does La Mascara still wrestle like every generic tecnico on the roster but at 3/4 the speed?
  4. Awesome main event. Mendoza did the lucha indies proud. Loved Kendrick's dirty tactics and the whole scraggly back-alley hobo vibe he had going on. That was my favorite match of the tournament so far. I really like Sabre, but I don't know if the WoS tribute act would work in a WWE ring. I get the feeling Gallagher is going to do a better job of it anyways.
  5. The Pentagon stuff didn't bother much, but I'm not as high on him as the crowd in the temple is apparently. I'm going to need to watch this whole show again when it goes up on demand because there was too much shit going on at the time. Rey/Puma was definitely a great match and I'm not prone to enjoy flyer vs. flyer matches.
  6. It was great seeing Tajiri pick up where he left off in Japan. He was turning into one of my favorite matworkers in the world and I wouldn't mind seeing him in there with Gallagher down the line. TJP/Mack was decent, but Mack isn't quite at TJP's level yet. Lince/Ali blew me away for a match that I had no desire to see at all. It will be difficult to top as far as batshit crazy spotfests go. Tozawa/Johnson was something else entirely. If it's true Ho Ho Lun trained himself using YouTube, I can imagine Johnson only had a worn-out VHS copy of Heroes of Wrestling. The talent scouts clearly got ahead of themselves with some of these choices.
  7. Show was pretty good aside from the Barbra Walters filter and the Code of Honor stuff. Lun winning was baffling and fucking hilarious at the same time. You'd think there's enough veterans backstage to spot a backyarder when they see one. Crowd was kind of sitting on their hands, but I'm sure that will change as it progresses. Really looking forward to the rest of this with LU finishing up their season.
  8. Sombra looked crisper than expected for his first time in a WWE ring. It's too bad the Impact Zone had to shit all over his debut. I didn't enjoy the tag match much at all, but I guess that's one I'll need to go back and watch again. Nak/Aries was pretty decent for a one-off dream match. The women's match was MOTN just for the insane performance by Asuka. At this point, I might take her over any of the guys on the main roster. She is a beast.
  9. Anyone know approximately how much was clipped from this?
  10. I learned to drown him out as soon as it became apparent that he didn't know jack shit about AAA or lucha libre in general. LU would've been better served finding their own Mike Tenay.
  11. Loved the main event. It felt like the brainchild of some insane collaboration between Wes Craven, Bill Watts and Antonio Pena. I was a little skeptical on the whole “graver consequences” deal, but the visual of all the wrecked coffins added a lot to the match. Mil Muertes just revels in these gimmicky brawls and Matanza had no problem keeping up with the potato shots and heavyweight bumps. Muertes strapping on the chain mail glove was such a markout moment for me. There is no one else in wrestling who knows how to deliver a right cross like Muertes. I also can't say enough about how well Cobb has done adapting to his role of Splatterhouse Brock Lesnar. Great stuff all around.

    2016 NFL Draft

Seeing a lot of people say Dallas will regret not picking up Ramsey. They apparently were unaware of their dogshit track record drafting 1st round DBs.
  13. I don't know if that was the best LU match to date, but it was one of the most brilliantly laid out matches I've ever seen. Respect to Luis Gil-Fernandez for taking that sick bump on the outside. You can tell the guy pours his heart into this thing.

    2016 NFL Draft

That is a batshit crazy move by the Eagles. They have too many gaps to fill to be giving all of that up. It makes things interesting for the Cowboys if Tunsil makes it to them. If they don't want to deal with another big OL contract down the line, they can use him a bargaining chip to trade down and maybe get EE in the process. I like it.
  15. Tonight's main event was a lot of fun. Something felt a little off in the first few minutes, but they quickly got on track and put on a hell of a show. Loving Rey in Lucha Underground. Next week should be insane.
  16. What's up with Steve Pain? Is he done with Mexico for good? It ridiculous that he doesn't get booked in any major U.S. indies after his run in AAA. Those guys are fucking clueless sometimes.
  17. Good show. They absolutely smoked RR on every conceivable level. Rey was the best guy in it by a huge margin. Seems like we're primed to get some more awesome performances out of him. I like Jeff Cobb, but I wasn't convinced he was the right guy to play the role. The Splatterhouse gear gave the menacing vibe he needed. Great way to debut him.
  18. Tremendous main event. Perfect follow up to their previous matches.
  19. It was fucking bananas, once again. Great show from top to bottom. Even the new guys looked good out there with Halcon and Bala.
  20. The ladder match was disappointing. Felt like they spent too much time setting up spots than actually executing those spots. I don't know who's laying out these matches, but it doesn't seem like it's the same person that was there last season.
  21. I doubt it. It's all too dumbed down at this point to consider anything outside the box.
  22. It doesn't matter if the award is going to Malala Yousafzai, the show is ending with Roman Reigns breaking it and HHH staring him down from the ramp.
  23. Excellent show tonight just the trios and Dorada vs. Mephisto. I know Rob and others are going to praise Dorada through the roof (rightfully so), but how cool was seeing Negro Casas breaking out two Code Red variations just one month after he turned 56? Dude never fails to amaze.
  24. The show was okay. Hechicero vs. Guerrero Maya Jr. looks like it would be a great rivalry if they ever got their heads out of their ass and booked some fresh match-ups.
