  1. It's like The Bold and the Beautiful meets Duck Dynasty on meth.
  2. In fairness, I don't think anybody could handle their spouse hanging out with, and travelling with their ex-lover, on a regular basis. Factor in, Matt was always kinda crazy about Lita. Like, she'd kick up a fuss. But it's understandable, you know?
  3. I wanted a twist on Cena/Nikki and thought it was too predictable, but I accept what Meltzer said: "A twist would have been too Russo." You got an oddly sweet moment instead. But I will always secretly suspect Cena telling Nikki to "Fuck off" in the middle of the ring because he's tired of her pressuring him into marriage would have been utterly hilarious.
  4. Here's the thing: It's one thing to understand that it's a macho business and there's going to be hazing and "toughening up" rookies. Basically, maybe it's one thing for Undertaker to demand respect and Finlay or Regal to get stiff with some newcomers. It's how things are. But every hazing story featuring Benoit or JBL suggests they're just, well, nutjobs. They go beyond usual fratboy antics and are rather scary and sadistic. And we know for a 100% fact that one of them was insane. No wonder Justin Roberts didn't answer the door when they went batshit about the t-shirt stuff. Would anyone have?
  5. He broke one of the first volunteer's ribs didn't he? He was extremely rough with them. Then again, that came from Puder, who isn't exactly unbiased here.
  6. Pah. You young dudes and your fear of commitment.
  7. He's a shitty, abusive person. Rather sadistic. But in a pathetic way. Scary. But not that much, you know? He can't back it up. He's a coward. Hey, when Chris Benoit was your partner in crime, you should start asking serious questions of yourself.
  8. Well, yeah. 2/3 are dead. And the other one was reduced to working for TNA. Which is basically a living death. Who really won here?
  9. That was years later, though. He was older. And that whole thing is just sad to watch. Kurt, a man who has tested himself in the highest competition possible (the Olympics), decides to pick on some rookies. One is a half-assed, second-rate UFC fighter and says: "Well, I'll fight you." Kurt gets embarrassed. Because he got petty, cruel and decided to be a bully. I assume there is some vague life lesson here.
  10. There was something a journalist, somewhere, brought up about Kurt Angle when he started with WWE in 1999 or so. "Well, obviously many people on the roster are pissed at his mega-bucks contract." *pause* *But they won't stiff him or take advantage. Not ever. They'll be polite." Basically because Kurt could legitimately kill them within 30 seconds if he wanted to. (The Olympics and the Gold medal and all.) Same reason Brock got left alone.
  11. Bart Gunn made mince-meat of JBL in a real, proper fight. In seconds. Still delightful to watch.
  12. The classroom scene and the Mickey character in general feel too forced. That's the problem. Sorta feel like Billy summed it up in the first one with just one line: "Now, Sid. Movies don't created psychos. They just make psychos more creative." It craps on the obviously nonsense "violent movies make people insane" talking point. But it acknowledges that glamorizing violence in film does have certain consequences sometimes.
  13. Listening to some recently WORs...Dear God, JBL is a sociopath, isn't he? Even all that charity work for Bermuda just feels like a mad bully trying to keep up appearances and appear respectable. He has knowingly and happily driven mentally ill, vulnerable people to the edge of madness. Literally he has done this. Also: Nova's story about JBL and Benoit hunting down and terrorizing Justin Roberts because he didn't throw T-shirts into the crowd properly still creeps me out. "The way they kept violently pounding on his hotel room door...it scared the hell out of me. I prayed for him not to answer."
  14. Also, to borrow from Bryan Alvarez: "I really, really hope Shane doesn't kill himself with whatever big bump he takes at WrestleMania." This could happen, we understand.
  15. The way she is looking at him. A product that is all about T&A and HOT CHICKS~! You still got a rather nice, subtle little moment.
  16. I think Elementary is doomed. Shame.
  17. Your life sounds like one of those cheesy straight-to-DVD action movies my dad was fond of. I hope you came up with suitably cool-one liners.
  18. I'm still not sure what to make of the Bates Motel twist. They knew they could never equal the original shower scene, so didn't even try. Sensible. But something about the scene was, eh, rather anti-climatic? They were in a difficult position, IMO. I sympathise.
  19. Life goals. I assume this included gang warfare, machine guns and avenging someone's death.
  20. Miz/Maryse and Nikki/John works because of "shades of grey!" No, Miz and Maryse are definitely not good. But they make great points. That Maria and Kelly back up Maryse's claim that the Bellas sabotaged other women indicates she's probably telling the truth. Nikki 100% has used her relationship with Cena to advance herself. Miz is perhaps right that Cena hasn't ever really treated Nikki properly. But Cena is also right to be pissed at them getting judgemental about his personal life. Maryse was wrong to taunt Nikki about the baby thing. Everyone involved is unlikable but strangely sympathetic at the same time. They are all, um, complicated, three-dimensional people? When a Russo-style feud actually is intriguing.
  21. Miz's main point in this feud has always been: "I've treated Maryse better than Cena ever treated Nikki." The real power Miz has. It's why Cena will have to propose eventually. This whole program is surreal and wacky and honestly astounding to watch. When you get that Miz/Mayse probably have more of a future than Nikki/Cena do.
