I'm also old so I understand. I almost said FMW instead of FMV. Why the hell would FMW make video games I don't know. When GTAVII is out, I may be having to take arthritis medicine and use dentures.

I bought Baldur's Gate 3 to add it to the pile of games that can be seen from space. Also yesterday - the servers for Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2 shut down. Pour one out for the OG kings of multiplayer. I managed to Platinum them both, but even then it's crazy that it's over.

I'm rather disappointed we didn't get a Death Stranding 2 trailer. OD completely underwhelmed me and looked like a FMV game. With it being on Xbox, it may not come out given Microsoft's track record of announcing games with a lot of hype and you then hearing nothing for years. I'm still waiting on Everwild, Perfect Dark, Contraband, Clockwork Revolution, Fable, South of Midnight, and Stalker 2 to get more trailers and a release date. But Microsoft will have them on GamePass. Based on what I saw with Hellblade II, I'm highly doubtful it's coming in 2024. Just "2024" as a release year doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Also, I didn't know Satoshi Kojima did video games! Including elbowing CM Punk in the dick, he makes video games! What a talented guy!

Although Rockstar Games will never do this after the stupid money they've made with GTA V Online, I hope we get standalone single player campaign DLC based in Atlanta (or whatever Rockstar calls Atlanta) for GTA VI. There's at least a dozen stories on Atlanta news that are Florida Man-esque in their craziness and stupidity. They have to have the Marta bus driver stupidly blocking the camera feed of the demolition of the Georgia Dome.

Footage I've seen of it has me wondering if those are stolen assets/unauthorized use of Snowdrop engine from The Division.

Having driven through Florida recently.....it was like everywhere I saw in Florida in one game based on that trailer. They even had the car meetups (which I thought was an Atlanta thing). Convenience store signs written out? Check. Apple Pay logo? Check. All it needs is The Villages equivalent and Florida's ridiculous toll system. I saw a guy pushing an airport luggage carrier train on the sidewalk too there. I'm hoping Rockstar Games actually has single player campaign non online DLC that's set in the GTA version of Atlanta. By the time it's presumably out....I'll be 44. Holy shit.

Mars Williams of Psychedelic Furs died on November 20. I managed to catch Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze when they came to Atlanta about two months ago. Crazy that was one of his last shows.

I'm not saying Punk's opinions will have changed, he just won't be able to vocalize those opinions on WWE shows or capitalize on those opinions through merchandise sales. It's kinda like indie bands that go to major labels - everything that made them unique is changed to fit in with the major labels.

100% THIS. The promo had echoes of his 'pipebomb' when he announced was leaving too. CM Punk basically realized he can't beat the WWE so why not join them again? He's turned into the very thing he was against. How will Punk do when WWE goes back to Saudi Arabia next year? What about his wearing his trans rights shirts in places like Texas, Georgia, or Florida? His opinions about abortion and his shirts for those as well? CM Punk will be foregoing all of that just to make money in WWE. He had everything he ever wanted in AEW too; he just couldn't get out of the way of himself to get it. When the whole time - the problem has been CM Punk. He goes to AEW and causes himself problems but with a younger group (Jack Perry / Young Bucks / Kenny Omega / Adam Page) so if he has the same problems but with people closer to his age (Seth Rollins / Kingston / Cody Rhodes / etc) then it's over. Hopefully, when Punk gets whatever he wanted out of his time in WWE, he'll be officially done with wrestling. I don't really want to see a over 50 year old CM Punk still trying to do another comeback (AEW again? Impact / TNA? NJPW? NWA if Billy Corgan hasn't gone out of business? CZW if they're around? GCW if they're around?) after this.

I'll definitely be getting The Last of Us Part II Remastered with the $10 upgrade. It has an autopop for trophies but I want to go back through it again. Part of me is hoping that the roguelike mode and lost levels get trophies too.

Play both Horizon games and Ghost of Tsushima and maybe go for the Platinums for all three. Even if you don't, they are glorious on a HDTV.

Not to mention the GTA VI leak that's on the internet. I don't think the game will change too much from that. After this...Rockstar Games gotta do a Midnight Club game. It's been over a decade since Midnight Club: Los Angeles. They can rip off Fast & Furious storyline and make fun of the stupidity of the series. Hell, they can test the waters by re-releasing Midnight Club 1 - 3 for PS4 / PS5. Oh and Bully 2. I want to see Jimmy become a teacher at the Bulworth Academy.

Toss in Beyond Good & Evil 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Death Stranding 2, Resident Evil 9 and Ghost of Tsushima 2 to the mix and it's a wide field.

For one or two people that might care, Warface Breakout servers are shutting down on April 30, 2024. I got the platinums for North American & European versions on Friday bringing my Platinum count to 307 platinums.

I may start Gotham Knights before I die. So it might be this year? Playing Gotham Knights I mean, not dying.

They may have also delayed Star Wars Outlaws too. Ubisoft isn't doing too well with their games. The Crew Motorfest got heavily discounted a few weeks ago and the servers for the game aren't doing well. Not to mention numerous other past games seemingly going up and down server wise.

Will it be out before Star Citizen is out as a finished product though?

Mary Jane looks like a 35-40 year old woman who has two kids and takes them to choir and soccer practice and needs me time with her girlfriends while going to a Taylor Swift concert and drinking White Claws.

4. Make sure PC ports are of the same quality as console versions. The Last of Us Part I had a terrible launch on PC and Naughty Dog were part of the ones (along with Iron Galaxy) doing the port! I'm also hoping they'll have more PS3/PS4 games get PC ports (Puppeteer and Tokyo Jungle on a modern PC would be marvelous).

I wouldn't be surprised if Todd Howard will be retiring as well in not too distant future. He's about the same age as Pete Hines - I pretty much see him doing Elder Scrolls 6 and maybe start on Fallout 5 and that's it.

But every other game Ubisoft has doesn't get as much effort. Far Cry 4 has had its servers broken since May 2023 and Ubisoft seemingly won't do anything after numerous requests and support tickets to fix it. Not to mention the other Far Crys that came out since then and The Division 1 & 2. The only reason Ubisoft cares is Siege has microtransactions.

Gotta love Micro$oft trying to spin fewer third party publishers as a good thing for gaming. If they can't create content for their systems, they just buy their way out of it. I'm still waiting on an Xbox game that's the equivalent to Sony's Spider-Man, Horizon, The Last of Us or God of War (i.e. something created for Xbox Series S/X that makes people want to buy it). Starfield is probably that but they need more than that.

PS5 has a really big library even if the cross-gen versions are included. There's also a few PS5 only games that are a bit under the radar like The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, Oceanhorn 2, Rhapsody Marl Kingdom Chronicles (RPG for people like me). The problem is if you just look at the first party / AAA releases....the library is sorta small. Lots of PS5 ports (Death Stranding Director's Cut, The Last of Us Part I, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut) but very few PS5 only games. And you have Demon's Souls, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. What more do you need?
