  1. This reminded me how after Moxley-Ishii, Kingston kept going "See you didn't need them to win". How often does Mox depend on the BCC to win matches? I've never seen it. It's weird and I hate it when wrestling companies try to gaslight you like this.
  2. Won't lie. He looks a lot like Bron Breakker here.
  3. Well now I certainly do! Sounds like it'd be hilarious!
  4. Can it be explained to me why it's okay to body shame Adam Cole? I hated this shit when they do it to Kingston. It's not any better to do it to Cole, but no one seems to have a problem with it on here. It's gross.
  5. Alright show, the highlight for me though was Willow's "AND I WON!!!" She's an absolute treasure.
  6. RIP Dean. I wouldn't be on this board if it wasn't for him. I probably wouldn't love wrestling as much as I do if it wasn't for him.
  7. Corbin is the Jerry Lewis of wrestling. Everyone knows that.
  8. The problem with Bloodline= Horsemen is that Flair would lose the title periodically and then win it back later. If they wanted to do that, I would be more willing to go along with it. But it's like they're combining Flairs run with Hogan's or Sammartino's. That just doesn't work with a heel. You can't screw with fans emotions for that long before they're burnt out.
  9. I understand this feeling, I get it. But if you do that on Sunday night, then on Monday Jey Uso is your undisputed world champion. And I don't think he's there yet. And I don't think The Bloodline story has the legs to last until he is.
  10. The way some people on this board are tripping over themselves to defend this absolute horseshit booking is mind boggling. This was one of the most appalling endings in WrestleMania history. Cody is the most over face in the company, even ahead of Sami. And him going over their biggest heel on their biggest show is a no brainer. You want to see where this is going? I'll tell you where it's going. They'll build, let's say, Rollins for a year. He'll face Roman at Mania. But then they'll decide he's not over enough, and they can squeeze another year out of the Bloodline, so he'll lose. Then the following year it'll be Breakker. And they'll build him up. But then his shithead dad will say something stupid, and they'll chicken out, and he'll lose. And etcetera and etcetera until the Bloodline angle loses all steam, and then they'll have Cody, or Riddle, or Sami or whoever and they'll win a flaccid WrestleMania 45 main event, and no one will give a shit. Sorry, but there's been a lot of bad booking this weekend, not just from these guys, and I'm overly pissy.
  11. If Suzu isn't in this, then it isn't even worth doing.
  12. Because it's impossible that Bushiroad deliberately booked Mercedes' debut opposite a WWE event that's been advertised for a year. Nope. Bushiroad is apparently run by saints.
  13. What if she gets hurt during the match? I can't imagine them risking it so AEW can get a ratings boost.
  14. In hindsight, I think it's weird that any of us actually believed Mercedes would be there. Why on Earth would Bushiroad let her make he post-WWE in ring debut on an AEW show, when they have a sold out show in San Jose in a couple of weeks featuring her vs. KAIRI?
  15. Holy shit! meltear is showing up on Smackdown? Awesome!
  16. My money's on Sting. Weren't they both on Impact together? Darby mentioned Sting hasn't been around.
  17. Has anyone heard anything about Stardom's involvement with Rumble on 44th Street on Friday. I'm going, but I pretty much decided to go based on Stardom doing something there. But NJPW has been suspiciously silent on the matter.
  18. The only authority figure that ever made any sense to me was Jack Tunney. Fairly incompetent, slightly crooked, mostly impotent. Almost completely neutral. If you have a strong face GM, you have to wonder how heels get away with anything other than basic cheating during the match. Any beat downs or locker room sneak attacks would have to lead to suspensions, because why wouldn't it? If they're strong and a face, they'd have to react harshly to be legitimate. If you have an all out heel GM, you have to wonder how the faces could ever win when management is doing everything possible to screw with them. What big-time baby face could ever win a championship, or at least hold one for more than a night? A face/heel GM is a storytelling nightmare in my opinion. Keep them dumb and neutral. TUNNEY 2024!
  19. So the guy whose username is "Coach", wants us to believe this is all real? Hmmmm.... suspicious. ?
  20. Maybe I'm suffering from post-Vince trauma, but I have an awful feeling that the Casino ladder match is going to be for the title.
