  1. That only supports his argument Well, fair enough if you think a single wrestler has had a flawless career - I choose to believe otherwise. His deathmatch shit is pretty lame, too.
  2. Well there were rumours around September of last year that Marvel cast Fran Kranz as Speedball, and he even commented on Twitter about it. I think it's a good possiblity, personally, and I'd love to see it. They've changed a lot about Civil War already, I'd like to see them keep the origin of the entire storyline the same. We already know it won't be the catalyst for the Civil War premise, but it could influence the movie heavily. Plus, I just really want to see Speedball turn into Penance over the course of the next season of AoS. I'm just a sucker for Civil War, really. It's what got me back into Marvel. I hope we're bringing back the "I'm with ___" signatures, too. Those were wacky.
  3. What the fuck is Jem and the Holograms, and why would anyone besides the (now) 30+ year olds that watched it while it was active on-air care if it's not true to the source material? I assume it was a once coveted 80s cartoon show from the picture posted earlier. Tweens and some teens will eat that shit up, nothing else matters.
  4. Earl Sweatshirt rescheduled his Nashville date from a week ago, and now it's the final date of his world tour. That's fucking awesome, thank you basedgod.
  5. Oh, don't get me wrong, the 360 spins that the smaller guys do off a clothesline from a bigger guy is stupid too, in my opinion. It looks nice, but I mean... that shit wouldn't happen in reality, and I hate to even use that phrase because that argument seems so out of place in the world of wrestling. But it's true. Funk doing a spin, an Uso, Rikishi... it's silly, to me anyway. So is the Davey gif, for the record. I guess what I'm getting at is that selling like that (over the top) takes me out of the match. I love Ambrose, but I hate his selling most of the time, it seems like he's toned it down lately. On the flipside, no selling like Davey does the same thing to a match. I guess it's just a matter of taste.
  6. I guess no one is going to talk about how Brock Lesnar is totally a NPC in this game.
  7. I was going through my harddrive last night and found a Championship Wrestling from Florida (I guess?) DVD file. It's about an hour and a half long, and the last match is a tag team match with Stan Hansen & Harley Race versus The Road Warriors. And oh my god it's fucking brutal in all of the right ways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXhz4mJiirE I'm curious to know the match listing and whatnot for this, though. It has a full interview with Mike Graham interspliced throughout the DVD, usually after matches. It looks like he's on a boat or something? I don't know if that helps, but yeah. Even the file was mislabeled as "Classic Championship Wrestling Vol. 1" even though I'm pretty sure it's Championship Wrestling from Florida. Or maybe that's just the title of the DVD. In any case - anyone know about this thing? -- I also watched Memphis Heat last night. Being from Tennessee, it really makes me mad that I wasn't alive in that time period, the crowds looked HOT and the wrestling was bloody and violent. I really want more Memphis footage now.
  8. That's probably just as bad as the Davey gif. Funk doing a "flip" after a Lawler punch = ridiculous. Funk's selling as always been really over the fucking top. Dean Ambrose reminds me of Funk in that regard. And it's awful.
  9. Deucalion "retired" him in CHIKARA, along with a lot of other people that haven't returned.
  10. I'm pretty sure it was an existing house show. There's the other crew in... I forget what city it is, but it's probably going to get postponed so Cena and Rollins can be on the Elimination Chamber card.
  11. CMLL, Dragon Date USA, TNA Impact / Xplosion / Greatest Matches, Best of ROH, USWA + PRIDE, Pancrase and a bunch of UFC shit. According to their "Shows" list on their website, anyway.
  12. It's 2 hours, and being branded as "It's All Connected", with presumably stuff about Age of Ultron(?). Are there any minor Inhuman characters they can introduce?
  13. PWInsider says the only Elimination Chamber matches will be the IC & Tag belts, but there will be US and WHC matches on the card too.
  14. Apparently, Bethesda hired Guillermo del Toro's production company to make the Fallout 4 trailer starting around November or December of 2014. I say apparently because it was found on an artist's LinkedIn profile, and he's worked on several other trailers (that much has been confirmed). I think we're getting Fallout 4 this year, but did anyone really think we wouldn't see something at E3?
  15. I think that a lot of that was on Cesaro. Cesaro seemed to be trying out a lot of new offense and some of it just looked like he didn't have it timed out right. The one botch that was clearly Cesaro's fault was the corner to corner irish whip uppercut. Cesaro held his arm too long and Big E couldn't be in position because Cesaro was too close behind him, they corrected it on the next one. he didn't seem to expect that pin, either. Reminded me of something I'd see on Lucha Underground.
  16. This will probably still be the case regardless, since it involves the Authority - but WWE.com said that the newly vacant Intercontinental Title and the Tag Team Titles will be defended inside the Elimination Chamber. And mentioned John Cena and the U.S. title, but nothing about the World Heavyweight title.
  17. Have you guys paid your air bill? What was Chris Masters' last good TV match? Why has nobody started a DVDVR Tropes wiki?
  18. Oh god, it's the monthly "this is how tough Haku and Harley Race are" conversation.
