  1. Looking at Cummins record, his opponents have a combined record of 10 wins and 20 loses. Putting this guy in the co-main is an absolute joke. I find it hard to believe no other UFC light heavyweights would have stepped up.
  2. So WWE is a public traded company "now" as opposed to 1999 when Batista wasn't even in the business yet. And man, Big Show just continues his fifteen year run as getting booked like a chump. Instead of being angry about being injured and looking for revenge, he trots out a famous corpse with his goofy fake smiley face. I guess it's better than dancing half naked in an adult diaper.
  3. Did those early Shotgun Saturday Night shows from bars charge admission?
  4. So what's the over under on crowbarred Super Bowl jokes on RAW tommorow? Vince must be salivating right now.
  5. Showtime has been airing Ed Wood, so I checked it out after years of wanting to. What a film. Really great period piece, as it looks like it could have been shot last year or in 1980. Depp and Landau were outstanding.
  6. I could be wrong, but didn't that Stevie Taker match lead to the debut of Kronik?
  7. I agree Bill is too much of a loser at times, but the flashback Bill episodes are great. Moments like saving a drunk teenage Hank from an ass whooping and taking the heat for him when he mooned the governor redeem Bill's pathetic character arc.
  8. The premiere is tonight, but I feel like we need a five minute HBO style recap of last season.
  9. The FBI? Little Guido pinning one of those plastic lawn Santas while The Big Don gives the three count. Tommy Rich and Tracy Smothers in general were brilliant, and for sure brought some comedy. I always got a chuckle when Joel Gertner did that little dance. I was watching a fan cam from '98 and Lance Storm of all people had me howling. I'm convinced if this board saw the match, it might change the collective opinion of him.
  10. Are the Facebook/YouTube prelims moving to Fight Pass?
  11. The guys at the old czwfans forum have done a good job recapping it via Necro's Facebook updates. He's admitted to beating his wife, hinted at suicide, sold off his cherished wrestling figure collection, conned fans out of thousands of dollars for surgery, and cries about having no money, car, or place to live.
  12. Has this board been keeping up with the happenings of The Necro Butcher over the past few months? He used to be pretty revered around here, hope that has changed.
  13. I think it's more of Dana and company protecting Gill, then a simple hesitation to sign a bout agreement as was reported weeks ago. With UFC desperately trying to tap into the Latino demographic, it would make sense
  14. Bossman, X PAC, Road Dogg, Ken Shamrock and Billy Gunn all had singles matches earlier and were in the Rumble main event in 1999.
  15. Dale-centric episodes always deliver. Sadly towards the end of the series the writers seemed to cut back on them.
  16. I think Homicide vs Terry Funk from 9/27/03 is worth a nod. It was from the JAPW show Funkin Homicide.
  17. According to Helwani, some Canadian website reported GSP is on an indefinite leave from the sport and is vacating the title.
  18. Supposedly Dreamer found a bunch of professionally shot tapes in his basement or something like that. I would assume WWE should have the rights to them, but who knows.
  19. It was the same three people every week. They were pitiful. "Goldberg, Goldberg. why is nobody else chanting. He is bald GOLDBERG!!! GOLDBERG!!!" When watching the Jets Monday night game with my dad, I switched to RAW and Ryback was wrestling. First thing out if his mouh was, "that guy looks like Goldberg". The crowd wasn't even chanting "Goldberg" at the time.
  20. This time every year I DVR all the Christmas themed episodes, and binge watch them. That episode is by far the best.
  21. Brad Pitt as Patch was one of my favorite guest stars from the show. Drew Carey as Hal is by far the best though.
  22. I couldn't be the only one marking out for the personalized track jackets The Real Americans were rocking, could I? TONI and BIG HOSS!
