But how do you do Grodd within the limitations of how the shows are run (I'm assuming Flash will be the same as Arrow)? They're trying to stay (as much as possible) away from superpowers, aliens, etc. How do you explain a super intelligent, telepathic gorilla with those restrictions?
Just say "Timey Wimey" and hope the audience goes along with it. Works for the British.

What happened to the feller who was gonna run ROH and shite for 6 weeks and then bring in ONLY new wrasslers at the point when they had some sorta win/loss record etc. How did his(YOUR) Universe Mode go? I think NXT was in his mix somehow...
And is Prince Devitt(Who I've seen maybe a half matchup of) wearing make-up?!
Yeah, he's wearing the makeup and attire he wore at New Japan's annual January Tokyo Dome show (the makeup is based on a comic book ccharacter, Carnage). The Dome show is NJPW's biggest show of the year and costumes/makeup/wacky entrances have become a tradition.

Doing the job for the teddy bear would have been best for business.

Saw an article that said the final scene in the finale was filmed eight years ago. Apparently, it involves the Ted's kids and the producers feared the actors would change too much as they aged from the way they looked in season 1.

what have we done to deserve this?
1. Watched Dexter in sufficient numbers to make it a cash cow for Showtime.
2. Kept watching the show even though after the quality dropped off.
3. Kept talking about the show after it ended, leading Showtime executives to conclude (probably correctly) that there would be an audience for a reboot/sequel.

I'm no expert on human anatomy, but Wolverine seems a bit off in this panel. When did he eat Bane?
Bane? That torso reminds me more of Bouncing Boy from the LSH with PED arms. Guessing his mortal enemy is now someone who can untie his shoes, forcing him to try to try to bend over,.
There's so much wrong with that picture.

Tricia Helfer for Jocasta.
She's already EDI right?
And the hot Cylon, Number 6, from Battlestar Galactica. ANDROID TYPECASTING~!
Somebody enlighten me. I never did figure out what EDI stands for.

TNA released Wes Brisco
I hope there are some unaired PPVs with him on it
Naw, they got the last one with him on it out earlier this month.
Jay Bradley got released too.
Bradley recently tweeted at Dixie about the new talent initiative and how, you know, he wasn't doing anything. I guess she took it the wrong way.
Or he reminded her that he still worked for TNA.
-
Mark.
Edit: AJ's tweet, I mean.

TNA had to room for the American Wolves
Looks like they're debuting tomorrow night. Dixie just posted on twitter as a hint regarding the new signings
Knowing TNA, they're actually debuting "Dr, Easy E", Eric Bischoff's new onscreen character.

I never understood wanting to get fired. Just quit. Unless you can't quit, then by all means develop a Matt Hardy gut & blowup in the ring after the first lockup.
Well, at least in Canada, you don't get severance pay or social assistance if you quit, if you get fired/laid off, that's a different matter.
Same here. However, WWE wrestlers are technically "independent contractors", they aren't eligible to receive unemployment benefits. Are wrestlers still paid while they're under the 90 day no-complete clause? That might be a difference?

I'm not sure that ep was that much worst than a few of the other eps, but halfway through it's 762 minute running time, I found myself wondering if I should skip the rest of the season, at least until May sweeps.
S8 was a fitting wrap-up, all things considered.
-
That montage at the end looked amazing. I'm half expecting the season to be a letdown because it can't be half as wacky as it looks.
-
Japanese wrestlers don't get paid in money/yen, just ramen, stale popcorn and a small coke.
Well, if you believe the rumors, workers for at least a few feds get paid in notbeingkilledbyyakuza instead of yen

Idiots
I'm assuming the purpose of that sequence was to cripple 2 of the three for life?
-
Driving into Asbury Park for that show was like entering a Scooby Doo cartoon, complete with gloom, strange characters and abandoned amusement parks.
Could you have gotten away with anything if not for those meddling kids?

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1
The Greatest Super Hero of All Time RETURNS!
The world may have changed since Spidey’s been gone, but so has Peter Parker. This is a man with a second chance at life, and he’s not wasting a moment of it. Same Parker Luck, new Parker attitude. Putting the “friendly” back in the neighborhood, the “hero” back into “super hero,” and the “amazing” back into “Spider-Man!” Also returning: The recharged and reenergized ELECTRO!
64 PGS./Rated T+ …$5.99
Yeah, that spoiler does nothing to make me want to buy Amazing. It's been fairly obvious all along that Superior Spider Man would be undone by the time the movie came out, but Peter Parker's never interested me as a character. And most of the interesting takes on him have already been done. I guess down-on-his-luck, happy-go-lucky Peter Parker has historically sold a lot of comics, but I'd far more interested in seeing how much more mileage Slott could get out of Octavius.
I'm not a huge Slott fan, and think his run on Amazing is a touch overrated, but Superior Spider Man won me over. Sorry to see it go.

At this point, I'm wondering if Ryback is pulling a Matt Hardy and wants Vince to fire him.

You do realize we are old?
It's been out of business for almost 13 years.
Is that it? i knew there had to be some reason.

At first, I thought ROH was booking Kongo Kong.
Imagine my profound disappointment.
-
Damn, completely forgot it was on. Hopefully, it hits On Demand today. In years past, FX shows didn't get upped to Comcast's On Demand service for eight days (after the following week's episode aired), but I don't think that's the case under the current contract.

When did ECW become "old school?", Good lord, I feel old.

I like to think the Boogeyman didnt perform that night and that he just showed up to the building like that.
I like to think the Boogeyman goes everywhere like that; to pick up dry cleaning, to buy cat food, go to the bank, etc.
Boogeyman's a cat person? Man is born heel if there ever was one.

I've never had a problem with blading if it's used sparingly, so I hate to abolish it, but..... the health risks are such as to make it a needless risk for the wrestlers and a large company like WWE or NJPW risks backlash from sponsors, who may not want their products associated with that image.
Probably best to let the practice fade away.

So I watched Agents of Shield last night,
On the one hand, the last two eps have probably been better than the preceding half a season.
On the other hand, I still don't give two shits about the characters or anything that is going on.
