One of the two matches that got me into New Japan on a frequent basis. Good match. Also, having Hidekazu Tanaka doing ring announcing doesn't hurt either.

That was one of the two matches that got me into New Japan again. The other was the Tanahashi-Suzuki match from KOTW 2012 and that was due to Meltzer snowflaking it.

I hear the work rate is real good. My only thing is that it's not "major" enough. However, they have been outdrawing All Japan and Noah in some markets, so I've heard.

In ring wise, Naito has been decent, but nothing special. This is probably due to his injury in 2012. But the booking? Yeah, I agree it hasn't been great. I'm hoping Goto finally gets a shot because he seems more main event viable if the booking is right.

I've heard a lot of good things about this show. But for someone who has never watched the promotion, what should I expect? Other than the lucharesu style I keep hearing about. Have got it on my iPad so I'm curious.

I'm guessing Naito has gotten the quasi-Cena treatment from the NJPW faithful. Heard he got booed when he challenged Okada at the end of Power Struggle.

Inoki has been out of his mind since the early 2000s with the whole Inokism-wrestling blend was at its peak.

New Japan hasn't failed me yet this year (with the exception of the Wrestling Dontaku show), so I'm expecting this to be good.

Yeah, the Daniel Bryan push is now officially dead in the water. Or at least the momentum is. Even if the payoff comes next month at Survivor Series, it's not going to mean anything. For those who said back in August that the WWE was going to mess this up, I give you kudos (and not Megumi's kudos even though you all would probably like that).
