  1. Bellator fighters want to participate in the tournament to make a quick buck and a name for themselves, but none of them or the former champions or tournament winners ever want to do it again. It's time to get rid of the tournament format entirely. It's completely pointless now. They've already gone to four-man tournaments and awarding random title shots or putting together random interim titles.
  2. Based on what Ubisoft said, doesn't sound like there is an offline component.
  3. I could be wrong here, but The Division is not a single player game. It's a coop, MMO shooter. So there will be no story mode like Last of Us. It will be an always online co-op game, which quite a few developers seem to be making now. I played the single-player Far Cry 4 demo at E3 today. You can ride an elephant into battle. Devs described the villain as Vaas 2.0. They also said they'd like to do another thing like Blood Dragon. I played The Order too. Honestly the way it plays reminds me a lot of Uncharted just with a weird steampunk alternate history plot and setting.
  4. I've never been all that enthusiastic about the Ant-Man project, but now I'm even less so. But all that aside, I was never all that enthusiastic about Thor either. But Tom Hiddleston really made that movie an experience for me.
  5. Finally a finish for Ben Henderson. His first submission in the UFC. That was a slick finish on his part. Looking forward to Dodson fighting Johnson or Bagautinov for the belt.
  6. Not sure if this was concept art for the deleted Jedi opening or not: Mark Hamill does Star Wars Weekends with James Arnold Taylor:
  7. OK, so if Belfort failed his last drug test, or was over the allowed levels, shouldn't he be suspended? Or are they going to address this at the June 17 hearing? I realize he hadn't applied for a license yet and wasn't licensed to fight yet, but does that even matter? The commission tested him, and he failed.
  8. Interesting. Is this a one-time thing or are they trying to get more UFC programming back on FX because of ratings?
  9. I feel like Melinda May should be Snake-Eyes and not Baroness. Anyway, here's the new extended Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot from the NBA Finals
  10. I've seen two events at the Palms and it is a pretty cool, unique experience.
  11. Already played the E3 demo, it was pretty intense. Dialogue was terrible though. Atmosphere and setting are terrific though. Mechanics are a lot like RE4.
  12. ^ This. I'm fine with the delay. Honestly, I was kind of surprised they were planning to get it out so soon in October. The good news the game won't be rushed or have all the bugs and glitches that Arkham Origins did. I just want the best game possible, so I don't mind waiting longer.
  13. Actually there was some. Hasbro made a Spider-Man Marvel legends line with movie versions of Spider-Man and Electro. Is Disney playing some kind of corporate politics by not releasing any Days of Future Past toys? Maybe. But they do release X-Men and mutant characters in their Marvel Universe 3.75 inch line.
  14. Ambrose's best line, "That's good. Too bad there's t-shirt that says that already." Then Roman Reigns gives him a death glare like, "Shut the fuck up, I'll kill you for talking you dumb fuck."
  15. Seth Rollins is going to break his neck doing that suicide dive one of these days. Main event was really good, but the extended Evolution beatdown in the middle really dragged. I'm assuming Batista gets kicked out of Evolution or something tomorrow to send him off for Guardians of the Galaxy. Last Man Standing match turned out pretty good. The steel step spot was awesome. I'm glad Daniel Bryan is still champion and all, but how much longer can they drag that angle out? LOL, why is Bo Dallas getting a press conference?
  16. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/08/business/media/disney-profits-soar-as-most-divisions-show-strength.html?_r=0 Per the above article, Iron Man and Marvel-related merchandise generated $200 million in operating income for first quarter 2013. http://adage.com/article/media/avengers-bulking-6-billion-marvel-licensing-machine/234572/ This article said the Marvel division of Disney generated $6 billion in retail merchandise sales in 2011. So basically, they make more money from the merch than the film division.
  17. You see about that. All that sexy merchandise money, Sony gets none of it. In 2011, Disney traded Sony any financial stake in the live-action movies in exchange for all the merchandising rights. So Disney/Marvel controls all the Spidey merchandise. Sony gets none of that.
