Ghidrah is sort of the beginning where the Godzilla suit goes from awesome to stupid. The change between this one and King Kong Vs. are noticable. But otherwise an enjoyable movie, watched it a few weeks back myself.

Apparently it wasn't screeneded for critics, so Stephen couldn't take him to task for it, but all I can picture is Bridges' explaination regarding the quality. "Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta whathaveyous."

I'm not even mad that it's SUCH a blatant MIB rip off, but that every aspect of it, from Bridges' acting to the special effects to the cliche plot is completely irredeemable. It's scary that some suit was all "$100M? Make it $130!"

Mugatu is by far the best thing about Zoolander, maybe the greatest character ever. EVER. From "Let me show you Derelicte. It is a fashion, a way of life inspired by the very homeless, the vagrants, the crack whores that make this wonderful city so unique" to the "Who care's about Derek Zoolander Anyway?!" monologue, he's golden.

Perhaps the witch who curses the Prince in Beauty in the Beast. Always struck me as odd that a child should be punished for not admitting a total stranger into their home during the middle of the night.

Sandman and Wonderwoman will..... not do well. At all. Really, DC missed the boat big time by not capitalizing on Nolan's success.

The cost of acquiring the IP wouldn't be factored into the movies budget. It's like saying the budget for Star Wars: Episode 7 is $4.2B. Once you have the IP rights, you can stretch the purchase price out over as many films/shows/whatever Disney wants.

I don't think Marvel would reacquire Spidey until Sony makes another film or two, so by that time I'd expect that Marvel would be rebooting their universe. And obviously the cost of purchasing the IP from Sony doesn't have to be made up from just ONE movie.

Of course. But 1) I don't think GotG will do anything close to ASM2 numbers, and 2) Suits know that a Spidey/Avengers team up would do billions. There's tons of incentives for Marvel to reacquire him.
