  1. Yeah, that "Beastie Boy" thing was just awful. Strowman officially DOA here. Any more DOA and he'd be trying to make Sashetty and Bagley work. Why build Corbin up as this guy having an awful few weeks having lost his job, and then comes out as if nothing had happened, still wearing his office wear and then beats Elias who cuts a heel promo beforehand relatively cleanly? I was kinda hoping Cena would attack Finn after the match. Not to turn heel per se, but keep his options open for Mania matches. Months of Cena just attacking guys trying to provoke a Mania match would be kinda fun. Hogan's a scumbag.
  2. I've never liked a single Nakamura match. The absolute worst example of "WWE style" going around. Spot. Pose/taunt. Spot. Pose/taunt. Repeat...
  3. I judge him, I judge you. Its what I do. Along with frequenting sports bars by myself that early on a Sunday morning. Cause meet effect.
  4. At a sports bar watching the game. Lull in play. Guy notices my phone cover of a photo i took at Wrestlemania and starts asking me about the WWF when it was still good and what Rock and Austin were up to. Then "what about the hobo guy with the mask whod jack off into a sock and then shove the jizz sock down their throat? Is he still banned from tv?" Politely tell him that wasnt what he did, and start focusing on the tv praying the Texans make it interesting. Nope. He's brought up photos on his phone from when he first debuted of Taker foaming at the mouth after a beatdown as proof it happened back in the day but you cant do that on PG tv anymore. Its not even 11.30 in the morning here..
  5. Is there a nearby Klan meeting that day?
  6. Someone with a better understanding of the cap than I: Can the Panthers move for Antonio Brown realistically? And if so, how?
  7. Shocked that the Cowboys are favourites against the Seahawks. Zero faith in them at all. Although money better spent on an over/under line on flags thrown against the Seahawks defence.
  8. I really hope he had expressed wishes that the details of his funeral only be obtained by dialling 1-900-909-9900 to get the inside scoop. Some big names rumoured to be delivering a eulogy. Who will be blackballed from attending the service? You won't believe what went down at the wake.
  9. Surely theres 5 people on the roster not doing anything that could be Daniel Bryan's Planeteers? Heath Slater, Dana Brooke, Apollo Crews, a returning Gail Kim and Kalisto?
  10. Also, someone needs to start using BOGUS as much as he did. That was endearing. I wish Sid was my Dad. I was Sid was Brock's onscreen Dad.
  11. How do we all know there weren't passport issues between the US border and Wherever He Damn Well Pleases? Sid vs Shawn is such an underrated match because it follows Bret/Austin, but Shawn just bumps like a fucking champ for him, Sid's stuff looks super sharp, and the crowd is molten for it. I love the finish too.
  12. I didn't mind that in the context that it furthered the story that he was that pissed at Nash that much, he was willing to forgive Hogan, and also forced Sting to take a side. Wasn't a great story, but realistically, it was a story, and planted the seeds for Show to turn every 6 months for the next 20 years.
  13. Is it even the dumbest rule in this game? Why should I get the same amount of points getting the ball in the end zone from 2 yards out, as I do for catching what I'm not supposed to be catching and then running 100 yards unstopped?
  14. I want more arrogant guys talking into the camera mid ring entrance. Or just Alex Wright brought back.
  15. Could genuinely happen. I thin they saw what they accomplished with NXT and creating their own competition. Whether they can get a consistent full time roster together is another thing.
  16. It's a fair point, but it's also a criticism of every single other ratings popper that they have up their sleeve. No different to say, The Rock, coming out, cutting a promo, hitting an elbow on a midcard guy, leaving and that's it. For all their obsession with the ESPN play of the day type legitimacy, it'd be nothing compared to it being replayed on every morning show thereafter.
  17. I disagree, I genuinely think more people would tune in to hatewatch Raw in that instance, no differently to people watching Game of Thrones hoping that Joffrey gets his. Outside the wrestling bubble, there would be a certain schadenfreude about Trump lowering himself to appearing on a wrestling show to distract from the other stuff going on that you just couldn't look away from.
  18. Immediately cut the ratings in half? As if to say the sitting President turning up on live TV, on the hallmark of trash TV, and people'll will react by turning off the TV or switching the channel to watch a Simpsons re-run instead? I agree, it's unlikely, for the reasons that Victator said, (and also because the FOX switch is a while off), but I don't think it's out of the question either. I didn't even realize the Smackdown Your Vote thing still happened. Guy's a desperate man, and RAW's ratings are in the toilet, I'm not even sure if Linda's the longest serving member of his cabinet by now. Him turning up and not really doing anything of note other than being there changes the narrative about whether he's going to jail or not, far better than anything else they've tried so far to do just that.
