  1. I have a feeling that ECW is not going to hold up well at all. I'd love to be mistaken, but I fear that ECW was one of those perfect for the time type things that just don't feel the same outside of the moment. You need to watch Goodhelmet's ECW comp and get back to me. I hope I'm wrong, but ECW seems like it is the wrestling equivalent of grunge rock, and gangster rap. There is a lot of it that still rides, but there is a lot of it that makes you wonder why we spent so much time with something that was so little fun. I hope that it is more like Pearl Jam and Wu-Tang than Candlebox and MC Eiht.
  2. Staying in college another year for anyone who will be a lottery pick is fucking stupid. There is no reason whatsoever to do something for free when you can get paid for it. You won't get better playing against lesser competition, and there are plenty of people who will get something out of you staying in school for an extra year, but you won't be one of them. Go get paid, become a better player, and stop being exploited, or stay in school, don't get paid, and listen to people praise you for making poor life decisions.
  3. I LOVE impromptu seeming, out of nowhere finishers. I kind of hate how the WWE basically turned match finishes to, mug at the camera, do some sort of over the top mannerism, and then hit your finisher. The catch a speeding luchador version of the Sister Abigail was awesome. I've always hated that move, but somehow Bray makes it look painful. I don't know if it's his size, the dip, or the prospect of being wedged in a chubby man's armpit, but of all of the downward spiral, complete shot, flatliner type moves his is the best. I want to see a Sheamus/Cesaro fued right now. If they want to push Cesaro, and they should, have him go over Sheamus in a who can kick the most ass fued. I think the two of them have the ability to work well enough to keep the matches interesting, and if done right, whoever comes out on top will be looked at like a threat to anyone on the roster. Am I the only one who thinks the tag division is carrying the roster? Other than Orton/Cena, the best matches were the Real Americans/Christian Sheamus, Wyatts against the Rhodes + Rey, and a fun showcase for the Usos. Why the hell are the New Age Outlaws holding the belts? Between The Shield, The Wyatts, The Rhodes Brothers, The Usos, and The Real Americans who made the awful decision to give the belts to the old guys who weren't ever that good to begin with? Cena/Orton was fun, but as much as I don't like Orton as the champion, having him loose over and over again seems a little idiotic. I don't understand the story they are trying to tell. Are they saying that Orton is an undeserving champion, that can only win because he is in management's pocket? If that is the case, why is he fueding with The Authority.

  5. I was thinking the same thing, the baseball throw against the wall was incredible.
  6. Yeah, I think the second Ezio game was the peak of the series so far. Is there any reason they've gone away from the big dungeons they had in the Ezio games? I think the game is at its best when it is basically Tomb Raider with a mass murderer.
  7. Resogun is one of those games that is hard as shit, but not so hard that it's frustrating. I think almost every time I've died, I thought to myself, "Shit! How did I let myself get hit by that?" which is the exact feeling you should get in a game like this. It is the game I've played the most since getting my PS4 of Friday. I have Assassin's Creed 4 on my Xbox One, and as much as I liked the beginning of the game, I'm starting to get tired of the sailing portions of the game. I'm kind of at a point where my ship is strong enough to take out individual ships, but I'm just plain outmatched when I have to fight multiple enemy vessels. I guess I could go around trying to take out a bunch of lesser ships, but I'd rather just be able to get on with the story. Speaking of story, I absolutely hate the follow an enemy around while they talk endlessly missions. As good as the Assassin's Creed games are at their peak, there are still a bunch of shit that drag these games down unnecessarily. They need to focus on combat, free running, and dungeon crawling with a couple of naval battles and minimal stealth.
  8. You guys are way off base with the Nas picks. Nas has some of the most unbearably passionate fans, who will do everything short of punching you for criticizing Nastradamas. I'd say Ghostface Killah is probably the best rapper who is no one's favorite. If you look at this body of work, he is probably a top 10 rapper of all time, but you never really hear his name brought up in best rapper conversations.
  9. I can't wait for this shit, I've watched a lot of WWE PPVs over the years, but other than 98-00 I have plenty of gaps. I've seen a few WCW PPVs, but most of the WCW PPVs will be 100% new to me. If you would have told me when I was 15 that I'd have unlimited access to this much wrestling I may have passed out. This shit is going to consume way too much of my life.
  10. HHH is a better worker than The Rock, but if I had much more fun watching The Rock than HHH. If I had to watch the 20 best matches of each guy, I'd probably pick HHH, but I'd have to actually look at the match listing. As soon as you take into consideration all of the interviews, and other segments The Rock blows him out of the water.
  11. The fact that Power Stone wasn't isn't a huge franchise is a crime. If that game was put on any console that wasn't the Dreamcast, we'd have a new one every single year.
  12. You missed Ricky Rubio, he is shooting 32% from the floor. He is a historically bad shooter.
  13. I really enjoy the fact that caring about other human beings is being used as a negative.
  14. Am I the only one who drank beers and played hours upon hours of Fusion Frenzy with their friends on the original Xbox. Then Fusion Frenzy 2 came out and it was basically the single most annoying game in the history of the world. It had some stupid gameshow host guy who is pictured below. The first one was simple, and fun and was basically a combination of Mario Party and Super Smash Bros. Xbox dropped the ball on this one, and hopefully we get another one like the original.
  15. How about a Borderlands type game that allows you to switch from guns, to swords, to magic, to whatever. Have the same sense of humor, but I would make it so that a squad of four would be mandatory. You can play it alone, but you can switch from character to character. The four characters powers would be much more complimentary, so that the game would be much more focused on teamwork. I would also make all of the different sections to be completely different gameplay wise. There would be some levels that have puzzles to solve, others ould be like a hoard mode, and some could be a squad based shooter like X-Com.
  16. Gary Oldman in talks to be in Episode VII. I'd love to see him as a Sith.
  17. I agree with much of what he says about the NCAA and college athletics, but forcing people to go to school for something they can get paid for is just dumb.
  18. I don't think people are rooting for their team to lose as much as they understand in the NBA the worst thing you can be is above average. As a Cavs fan, I would love if they won 55 games and were in the finals, but can't stand the fact that they seem to be trying to win 38 games and get out of the lottery. The only real way the team will ever be a contender is if they can draft a franchise player, and that isn't going to happen if they somehow sneak into the playoffs. So I guess I do root for them to lose, but it is only so they can eventually win.
  19. Chris Jericho said on his podcast with Chavo that 70% of the roster at the Worldwide tapings were either hungover or drunk. There would also be about 100 people there, so that explains some of the reason those shows were so damn random.
  20. They also had a feature on the website with matches from When World's Collide. With that said they put a NJPW match on the Benoit DVD, so it could mean nothing.
  21. The Cavs are pretty fucking far away, but trading Irving of all people would be fucking stupid. Dion Waiters is not as good as Kyrie, and twice the headache. Getting rid of Waiters gets rid of 70 percent of the problems with team chemistry. They clearly hate playing together, and they aren't going to ever get better as long as those are their top two players. Agreed. I like Dion and I honestly think he will figure it out, just not on the Cavs. I look forward to a decade of me rolling my eyes at people saying "Of course the Cavs let him walk lololol they are so stupid" when he is torching someone for the Spurs or Pacers in the playoffs. Clearly the man needs someone to figure it out for him, and the Cavs are certainly not equipped to do that. Yeah, he is just the wrong guy on the wrong team. Ideally I think he should be the 6th man on a team like the Spurs where he will be given the opportunity to use his scoring ability, while having a system that will keep him from getting out of control. He is obviously talented, and his size alone makes him a mismatch for most of the shooting guards in the league. He is just a square peg trying to fit in Cleveland's gaping round hole.

  23. As much as T.O. wished he was entertaining, Randy Moss was entertaining without even trying.
  24. They did, but Evan isn't there. The Male side is pretty damn stacked, so I don't think he'll be missed. I thought him and Kenny were out until they got the whole Tonya thing worked out.
