    E. LI. Drake has been really damn good, and I went from hating his segment initially to actually liking it. Fun segment with Storm. Broken Matt speaking in 50 different accents was amazing TV. I'm really hoping their match next week is filmed like the original one was as I'm sensing amazing TV to come out of this. if this TNA thing folds soon, they could always go the soap opera route and call it "The tales of Broken Matt and Brother Nero".

    Sounds right to me. He drew from actors and a lot of British comedy. Which comes to show that sometimes what worked then can certainly work now. I'd much rather see him in a comedy than some of the goofs that think they're funny.

    Regal has a ton of range in his expressions. He's been a gem in wrestling but imagine him acting or doing shows. He'd do pretty damn well for himself. This video alone epitomizes what he can bring. Toss in his promo before facing Cesaro in NXT and he'd be a made man.

    I was determined not to fall for the obvious in the IC title match, and was doing just fine. Then right as he comes I thought "You know, with the draft coming up, why not bring out Balor or somebody else?" Sure enough, out came Kane and I was a tad disappointed. Curses! One day I'll learn. But considering the ending of the match, I'm glad it was Kane and not somebody people liked.

    I'd imagine that's why they're at the Performance Center so they can get the timing down.

    I've been of that mindset for the past couple months. Every now and then he'll somebody great on. But with so much to listen to anymore, I just can't do random Ted Fowler or Q&A shows anymore. It's the same with others so it's not just him. But sometimes too much variety can lead to unexpected problems like this.

    I wouldn't touch that Goldberg episode with a 39 and a 1/2 foot pole. If it was during/right after the Monday Night War I'd be all over that, but not now.

    That's why I tend to stay away from Shimmer and similar companies. I'm sure the wrestling's great and there's lots of well-intended male and female fans. But there's always guys like him that will ruin it for me. Thankfully I didn't pay attention to anybody in the crowd, especially that guy. That said, it was an interesting mix of matches. The opener was clunky in spots but was fun. Faye/ODB was the epitome of a basic match for a first-timer and it was fine for what it was. Really liked Hania/Mandy. Mandy is a lot better than I expected and I'm curious to see how she fares in ROH and beyond. And the main event had the crowd's interest with Taelor/Truth and BJ on the other side. Good match to close the show.

    When you put it that way I can see that. I guess it's something that didn't cross my mind. He had a ton of momentum for some time and I could have seen him go for the title. Hopefully he fares better during and after the Classic.

    I don't think him being black has much to do with that. At least I hope not. He's a great wrestler though and I'd be fine with him winning. I don't see it though because I feel Ibushi or Sabre, Jr are going to win. But I'd love for him to get far though.

    Holy shit this is horrible. I can't believe that this is happening and it seems like a ton of chaos has followed. And now finding out that Farage lied about a main piece of his campaign just makes me sick. There has a to be a do-over, no way this can stand. If anything him revealing the lie should be primary argument number 1 for a do-over or flat-out rejection of them leaving EU. If you live over there I'm so, so sorry for you. I'm hoping for a good resolution out of all this, but really feel horrible about it all.

    Hurricane has brought on the Hurripounds lately, as indicated in his TNA managerial run. Then again, even when he was fit seeing him at a local indy he didn't do much of anything. At least MVP can still have a good match nowadays, so that seemed like a downgrade.

    Thank goodness for Youtube repost. Facebook live is not Chromecast-friendly and even when making video full screen it cut off the top with the viewers count. Will be nice to see it again without all of that mess. That said, it didn't hit me how surreal this whole thing is until I saw this. Something about guys like Sabre and Ibushi being introduced in a WWE ring made me think "Holy shit, this is real!" I'm trying to hard not to read spoilers, but damn if I'm not curious.

    Okay, now that I wish I could see. I was thinking it was them teaming up, but they tend to post wacky pictures of people hanging out so wasn't sure.

    Damnit, if I didn't already have Andre and Piper i'd be all over that. No need for Cena, and Paige is just a re-done AJ figure. Recently we found UFC Pop Vinyls and they had Connor and Ronda. Those were the latest ones we picked up. Save for future WWE ones coming out I can't see getting too many more of these things.

    I'm a big supporter of the idea of Graves being called up for Smackdown. But the last few weeks really makes me hope they both come up. Mauro and Young Boy Tom with Graves countering them would make for commentary magic. Keep Bryon on Raw and I can't see why wouldn't be a possibility.

    Seeing that picture makes me so happy. I just adore all three of them. Ooh, imagine them teaming up, now that would be gold.

    Once Puma started talking about his plans for Ultima Lucha we were buzzing with excitement. Puma vs. a rejuvenated Rey Mysterio is going to be an amazing match. And I'm cool with Moth/Killshot being in the medallion match, but the way they were going I would have loved a singles match for the show instead. Dog tags on a pole match, anybody?

    Regarding Kofi doing Austin's promo, I got a huge kick out of Xavier playing Jake. The only time he didn't play Jake was to replace the F in WWF to E. Funny, funny video. And that DDT video is hilarious. They're that company that I should check out more and I have no earthly idea why I don't.

    On Today show they sure talked it up like it's the greatest thing to happen to the country. Yet they mention the worldwide stock markets plummeting but say "Eh, it's not that bad." Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. This is topic I need to more research on, but all I know is that it's a huge deal. I feel maybe we should get a topic going for current events (not it's own subforum) for stuff like this. All it would be is just casual talk about stuff like this, hoping it remains civil.

    Definitely heard that. The added parts to the theme are not a welcome addition for me. It was just fine as it was, no need to add stuff like that.
