Love the promo praise, but bad take by Jericho on Eddie's look, though in his defense, it's for sure something I've seen others say. I'm beginning to think that one's opinion on Kingston might be rooted in a combination of life experience, geographic location, and socioeconomic status - I grew up with a ton of guys who look, talk, and act like Eddie and I never thought he was anything other than hard as fuck. Wild guess, but there may not be a ton of dudes wearing Timbs and smoking Newports in Winnipeg.

Besides, by today's standards, Dick Murdoch had a "bad look."

No one's gonna go back in time and bark up that tree.

As far as I'm concerned these two have passed at least jungle boy and possibly sammy as far as "pillars" go

I'll do ya one more and say that casting Jungle Boy and especially Sammy as two of the pillars did more harm than good. It was WAY too early to be throwing that term on them. Way I see it, neither one of them really merit it. Jungle Boy might get there.

There is such a feeling in the air that Punk is gone that any other outcome is going to feel like a huge surprise.

At this point, it's probably for the best for everyone involved.

I'll be sad to see him go, especially like this, but he needs to stay away from the wrestling business.

When we start seeing dissension between the 2, that's our sign that Sting is ready to bow out, I would guess his final act would be putting over Darby in a coffin match with one HUGE scary spot to go out on.

Nah. Dudes with Attitude and Brothers in Paint 'til the end. Sting says "Mucho Respect" and walks up to the rafters to smile upon Darby as he Coffin Drops himself into the World title.

And? He's on creative down in NXT, he's not someone they are banking on to be a headliner for the promotion.

Look at the people who WWE has been pushing heavily to the media. Cena, Roman, The Miz, now Bianca Belair..

They are all professionals. They don't have to worry about what they are going to do in the public eye. Brock was a draw but they never sent him to do media.

I'm not saying that what Punk did wasn't unprofessional.

What I am saying is that when it comes to CM Punk, HHH is talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Shawn can be as professional in front of the cameras now as much as he wants. He's a prick and he always has been.

    Why did he quit though?

He and Vince/Hunter clashed over his booking. They told him to do business or walk. It was an ultimatum.

The point I was making is that his leaving WWE was because of backstage issues related to how he and his friends were booked. Now it appears the same issue is coming up in AEW with Khan/Elite subbing in for Vince/Hunter.

If it's a work it's a poor one as it makes Punk look like the whiny, unprofessional loser WWE always said he was.
If it's a shoot then Punk needs a good slap but I fear the Tony loves the Pipebomb era Punk too much to do anything about it.

There's also the staph infection that could've killed him, medical malpractice, and Vince saying "I'll owe ya one, pal" too many times.

To give you some background, the first guy, Nick whoever, asked at the last ppv scrum if CM Punk was the reason Colt was fired or relegated to ROH, to which Tony said, “no comment.”

This was Punk remembering that shit from before and knowing that Nick and Colt did a podcast together and did other work together. Nick nervously tried to backtrack by saying he and Colt didn’t see eye to eye. But that’s what kicked everything off.

    Ahhh, okay. Thanks for that.

  9. This is stupid. It just sucks.

If it's a work, there's far more interesting ways to get to Punk vs Kenny or Punk vs the Bucks or Punk vs Hangman 2.

There were better ways to book MJF.

There are far more interesting and better ways to book this company as a whole. Hell, you have Eddie Kingston right there.

If it's a shoot, or certain parts of it are a shoot, no one looks good after last night. I was under the impression that got Punk got asked about Colt Cabana right off the rip, so I was actually a little understanding about him going off. Then I watched Denise Salcedo's shoot of the presser and Punk served all that shit up without provocation. Frankly, he's an asshole for doing it, Page is an idiot for his promo, and The Bucks are fucking morons, too.

I don't want to watch a bunch of assholes be assholes to each other. I'd go "celebrate" Thanksgiving at my Dad's house if I wanted that.

Now, if this were leading to Sting, Darby and Eddie cleaning house on all these fools, that'd be different. It's not.

On top of that, that PPV sucked. It was a two match show. Punk vs Moxley was great and that tag team match was spectacular. Everything else was just there or disappointing.

Between TK looking absolutely haggard and the Bed Bath and Beyond CFO jumping out a window I’ve never been more content to be a lazy underachieving piece of shit.

That last part is your internalized capitalism talking.

Take a nap and do not a goddamn thing today. You've earned it.

The suspension of disbelief required to understand why Sting's facepaint, that he paints on himself, now has the black mist infection is probably a step too far for me, especially when there's about a 99% chance nothing will come from it.

Nah, see, Sting's got immunity because Muta hit him with the yellow mist in '89.

He's sayin "Fuck you and your crew, Tommy."
