We should get Punk/Jarrett for Punk's return. Punk pops a rating, Jarrett pops a rating. Built in storyline of FTR trying to save Mark Briscoe from Global Nonstop Action

    100% down for a Punk/Jarrett match.

  2. 1. Ride
    2. Puppets
    3. Kill 'Em All
    4. Justice
    5. The Black Album
    6. Hardwired
    7. Load
    8. Reload
    9. Death Magnetic
    10. St. Anger

I've got half a mind to switch Kill 'Em All and The Black Album. Justice would be higher, but some of those songs are just too damn long. I never bothered with Death Magnetic, so I can't really rank it, but I know it's at least better than St. Anger. Reload sucks, and ya know what, Load probably does, too. They were EVERYWHERE at that point, like, U2 in your iPhone everywhere. I like Hero of the Day, though. Hardwired is as good as they're gonna get at this point, they're happy and out of their Kiss in 1981 plot loss phase.

    The song Escape fucking rules.

Personally I’m a fan of big multi man tags (like shield v Wyatt’s)but not a fan of the current house style of trios matches , I wonder how much of an island I’m on

I'm there with ya. On top of that, I don't like The Young Bucks. I have zero interest in watching them wrestle.

This is all just really sad. I’m not entirely sure Punk is 100% to blame, but he takes a huge share of it for sure.

I'm a firm believer that Jericho and the Bucks have been politicking like crazy, but Punk has done himself no favors. All he had to do was keep his head down and mouth shut publicly. Instead, he took every single piece of bait, hung Tony and the company out to dry, and now this.

    Dear lord, that is glorious.

The aforementioned skinny, pasty legs, Robert Fuller, Jimmy Golden, Paul Stanley's half-rap, Kiss trying to be street, those flea market pinky ring title belts, Dr. Love, brawling outside to start, and Gordon Solie trying to keep some sense of class and respectability to the proceedings.

    Pro wrestling is the greatest.

As much of a problem I have with Page's structuring of matches, I do think he's a unique character that can appeal to the modern fan in unique ways. He speaks to our times, lives and breathes our anxieties. He can be a man of the people for the 2020s. They should never, ever leave those possibilities on the table. As such, I think they absolutely blew this match. I was watching, watching all the barbed wire, the tables, the fork, the bricks, the chain, and the last thing I wanted to see was Page out-toxic masculinity Mox. He already beat him once, came close to outfighting him a second time. And that's exactly how he won, by being "more of a man." And I kind of hated it.

Hangman Page is the only guy in the world who could have found some other way to beat Moxley, that could have found some way to draw deep inside himself and kill him with kindness. It would have been so much better and so much truer to who Hangman Page is and could be and to the fanbase and all of you lovable jerks for them to beat each other all over the ring and Page to just let him go, to pull him side, to tell him that he forgave Moxley and that Moxley needs to forgive himself too, to give him a big hug, and for Moxley to just lay down, eyes shut, for ten seconds, finally at peace, a peace that only an anxious millennial cowboy could help him find.

Or you know, he can just hang him with a chain. Whatever.

    @Octopus, back me up here.

    I ain't Octopus, but I'll say this:

It needed a little more Texas and a lot less death.

  7. Enslaved is coming through Detroit in April, and I ain't missing that. Haven't seen them yet.

    Botch in Chicago in October.

I'm probably gonna end up seeing Metallica at Ford Field. My good friend's wife works for Live Nation and is more than likely working that tour.

REEEEAAALLLLY wanna go to Metal Threat Fest in April. Ved Buens Ende and Dead Congregation are playing Thursday and Friday, respectively. I am unemployed right now, though, so it ain't looking good. We'll see.

Dame is wild. He's on the shortest list of my favorite players ever. Dude's a real-life folk hero. He kind of was forgotten about after last year and the Blazers ended the Dame Time era. But man that dude can be the most scorched earth player and biggest assassin in one package. We're lucky to have him. I think he's a great "real life babyface." He's not going to win a title unless he ends up on a team when he's 38. But nobody appreciates the journey more.

In my 2K save, the Blazers got the top pick next year and drafted Wembanyama.

I've got half a mind to up the difficulty and get swept in the Finals by them just because.

  9. Sami beats Reigns tonight.

In a couple of weeks, Roman invokes his rematch clause. Jey turns on Sami. Roman gets his belt back, they chair Sami to death the way they did Kevin Owens.

Bloodline reign of terror leading up to Mania.

Sami and Kevin beat the Usos for the belts on Night 1.

Cody wins on Night 2. (Or not.)

Bloodline completely falls apart over the summer.

Jey vs Roman at Summerslam. Jey wins.

Roman takes a vacay. Comes back for a face run.

Or, they could've just had Jey turn on Sami tonight.

Regardless, seeing Sami and Roman not even have to lock up for the first three or so minutes because the crowd was going that nuts was a goddamn marvel to behold. Though the ending was disappointing, that match ROCKED up until the overbooking kicked in.
